REIGN

CHAPTER 12

           It was a pleasant afternoon, the sun wasn't too hot to scorches the skin ,the wind felt so light when it brushes the skin. The sky was clear and bright as if it's screaming "nothing will get in your way today,". The Golden road seems to be peaceful, the road itself was surrounded by a heathy forest left and right. The green scenery will soothes the eyes to everyone that look at it. 

          A whistling could be heard on the Golden road. It was from a man in late 30's and he was riding on a brown horse. The horse was pulling a wooden cart that was filled with goods. The man wore a beige long-sleeve shirt and a black pants. He was a  merchant that sells antique things such as old books, silver trinkets, old paintings, and other rare items. The merchant was whistling happily until his horse went into a sudden halt. His body jerked to forward and then backwards. His horse was thrashing left and right as if something had spooked her. 

       " W-Whoa! Whoa! calm down girl! " he shouted. The thrashing made him almost  lose his balance. That is until his horse jerked sharply to the left and that's when he lost his balance and fell down. He growled in pain and massaged his back. Then he saw what had spooked his horse. 

        An enormous pack of wolves, ran past his cart. They ran as speed as light, and just for a few seconds the wolves disappears from his sight. He can feel his heart thumping like crazy and sweats started to trickled from his forehead when he saw wolves, because he knew  those aren't ordinary wolves.

"W-Werewolves," he breathed.

ONEUS

          The wolves kept ran and ran along the road, frightened every people who saw them. Some of the people almost fainted, some of them dropped their things and scrambled away. The wolves also noticed the how the people react. Ravn rolled his eyes when he saw the reactions. "Gosh! why are those people acting like that? we don't ate humans for good sake!" he thought. The wolves had ran for hours. 

"Geonhak, how far?" he use his telepathy powers to ask one of his member. 

        "Almost there," Geonhak or Leedo answered. Ravn nodded his head. He glanced at his members  over his shoulders for a second then he look back ahead. The wolves make a sharp turn to the left, and enter a smaller road and kept ran along it. The road then led them to a small hill. They stopped when they saw an old stone arc covered with vines and leaves on top of the hill. The entrance of the Enchanted Forest. 

         The wolves changed themselves back to their human form. Their enormous figure changed into  a smaller form, Their sharp dagger like teeth shrunk into a normal teeth. Their once bloodshot red eyes shifted into a normal human eyes. Their claws shrunk into a pair of hands. Ravn sighed and run his hand into his raven black hair. He was a little exhausted from the long journey. He took a water bag made of leather and chugged it down his throat.

        "Did you see their reactions? it's like we're going to gobbled them up or something," Dongju said while laughing. A line of white teeth were visible on his face. "Yeah, it's like they are afraid of us," Hwanwoong added. 

            "That's  because THEY ARE  afraid of us,"Seoho said emphasizing the 'they' and the 'are' words. "When we stopped at the cafe' for a snack, I heard few people talked about a rumor. They said that a man was murdered brutally  in the middle of the forest. The man was found in a horrifying way, his body were split into two and his eyes were gouged out."

         "That's horrible!!" said Keonhee. His face scrunched with utter disgust, his hands find Hwanwoong and hugged him. Seoho nodded in agreement.
