Chapter One

Ronnie's POV

     I, sadly, awoke to my alarm going off. Groaning, I turned it off and got out of bed, heading to the bathroom. 

     After finishing up in the bathroom and getting dressed, I start my tasks for the day starting with dusting then sweeping, mopping and then a 15 minute break before polishing the floors. 

 ~ After the 15 minute break ~ 

     Sighing, I got up from my bed and began polishing the floors. Once I was done, the three sisters appeared in front of me. "Mother wants to see you." Says Bela. "She's in her chambers." Adds on Cassandra. "It sounds urgent! Won't want to keep her waiting!" Chimes in Daniela. With that, they disappeared in a swarm of flies. 

     I quickly put away the cleaning supplies and freshen up a bit before heading to her chambers. Once arriving, I knocked. "Come in." I heard Lady Dimitrescu say. I obeyed and gently shut the door behind me. "My lady, you wanted to see me? Did I do something wrong?" I ask. She chuckles,"No, dear. You haven't done anything wrong. Come sit." Alcina says, patting her lap. Blushing slightly, I reply," My- my lady, I can just stand if that's alrigh-" Lady Dimitrescu interrupted me," It wasn't a suggestion." I froze for a moment. "Well, what are you waiting for?" She asks, growing impatient. 

     I automatically looked down at my body. I know I wouldn't crush her, if anything it'd be the opposite, but I can't help but think. All of the sudden, I'm being picked up. Yelping in shock, I look up, locking eyes with Lady Dimitrescu. Before I say anything, she goes back to her chair with me in her lap. "Now, dear, why couldn't you obey a simple task?" Alcina asked, annoyance in her words. Gulping, I looked down, mumbling an answer. She put her hand under my chin, making me look at her. "Speak up, darling." Alcina says. She doesn't let go of my face as I reply, " I'm sorry, my lady, I don't know why I couldn't obey a simple task." Lady Dimitrescu hums before letting go of my face.

     A few moments pass by as I'm about get up, Alcina pulls me back in her lap, holding me closer. "Did I tell you to get up?" She asks. "N-no, my lady. You didn't. I apologize." I say, loud enough for her to hear. 

     We sit like that for awhile. "My lady, I don't mean to be rude but I am a bit tired. May I return to my room now?" I ask. "No, you'll stay here. Besides, don't you need to eat?" She replied. I nodded. "Well then, I'll have Amelia bring you something to eat. In the meantime, take a shower." She says with a commanding tone. "Mistre- I mean, my lady, what will I wear when out of the shower?" I ask. She hums," I'll have Amelia bring you something." I nod. 

     Wait. "Bring me something? Aren't I taking a shower in the maiden's-" Lady Dimitrescu cuts me off," No, darling. I have my own bathroom and you'll be taking a shower in there." I nod. As I'm about to enter the bathroom, Lady Dimitrescu asks," By the way, what were you about to call me a moment ago?" I freeze. Shit. She caught on. Of course she caught on! She always does. I turn towards her, clearing my throat, " Um- well- you see" I stumble over my words. "Say it, dear. I won't be mad." Lady Dimitrescu says. I look up at her," I almost called you Mistress. " I say. She gets up and walks over to me, petting my head. "Good pet." Was all she said before turning and leaving.

 ~ After the shower ~ 

     A knock came from outside the bathroom door. "Who is it?" I ask. "It's Amelia! I bring you your clothes and food." She says. I unlock the door, getting the clothes. "Set the food somewhere, please." I ask. She replies with an 'Okay' before doing so. I close and lock the door once more before changing into a red silk pajama two piece (shorts and tank top). Looking in the mirror, I sigh. I grab at my stomach and arm fat before leaving the bathroom. 

     I see the food is on a tray on the bed. I grab the food and sit on the floor, eating slowly, lost in thought. I didn't even hear someone come in. "Darling, why are you on the floor?" Lady Dimitrescu asks, coming over to me. "I- I don't know." I reply. By this point, I had finished most of the food. Amelia came back in and asked if I was finished, I nodded and she took the tray. 

     Sighing mentally, I get up and go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hair. When I come back out, Lady Dimitrescu is already in her pajamas with no makeup. I just stand there, awkwardly. She turns towards me. "What's wrong dear?" She asks. I shake my head," Nothing, Mistre- I mean, my lady." I say, trying to cover up that I almost said Mistress. Again. Chuckling, she comes over to me, picking me up and tucking me into bed. Alcina quickly turns out the lights and gets under the covers next to me. 

     I roll over on my side, back facing her. I thought she'd do the same. Nope. Lady Dimitrescu wraps her arms around me, pulling me closer to her. She whispers goodnight and I whisper it back before falling asleep.
