Ronnie's POV
We quickly got up and rushed to where Daniela's scream came from, only to see a maiden and Daniela's crumbled pieces. I looked around. Four broken windows in this room. That didn't help Daniela. Alcina grabbed the maiden's throat, screaming, " Did you do this?!" The maiden nodded. "How DARE you! You come into my home, I let you work for me, and after all these years, Alyssa, you killed one of my daughters?! You ungrateful, selfish wretch!" Lady Dimitrescu yelled, slicing the maiden's body.
"I'm going to go find Bela and Cassandra." I say, loud enough for her to hear while walking around the castle, trying to find them.
After a few minutes of searching, I finally found them. "Are you two alright?" I ask. "Yes, we are. Why, what happened?" Bela replied. Shit, they don't know. "Well-" I begin to explain as Lady Dimitrescu chimed in,"Daniela was killed." The entire room went silent. The two girls look at their mother in disbelief. "Who killed her?" Cassandra asks. "A worthless maiden." Alcina continued,"She's already dead." I looked at the girls faces. They looked distraught, confused, and angry. Rightfully so. "For now, Bela, Cassandra will stay in your room. I need to make sure no other maiden's do something like this. For today, both of you should rest." Alcina said. Bela and Cassandra replied, "Yes, Mother." before disappearing into a swarm of flies.
I sighed, still trying to process everything that has happened. "Ronnie, dear, go to our room for now. I will join you once I've finished off the maidens." Lady Dimitrescu says. I nod, hug her quickly, then leave.
