I hate you, but I love you the most.
Of all I hold dear, you're the one I want to hold close.
But whenever I get too close, you flinch and take a step back
Because of the depth of my love,
And its shallow impact.
You are dark, and you are light
A beautiful combination,
Yet an ugly sight.
You have indefinitely mastered the art of being sly
But I've caught on your ruse-
They are believable lies.
Blinded, but awakened,
I can't see with my eyes.
But I know you're not someone I want,
Though already you're mine.
