My eyes felt heavy as i came round to a few rays of light peeking through the gaps of the curtains. I soon regained the rest of my senses and heard murmuring beside me. I glanced over to my bedside and saw heads of orange and blue hair.
"Ah comrade, I see you have awaken," The familiar playful voice continued but tried to soften his voice. "... I heard about your sister and I just wanted to say that I'm sorry for your lost." I looked at two pairs on blue eyes that hovered slightly above the bed's side. Childe and Kaeya were both squatting beside my bed, trying their best to consol me. However, it made me felt slightly worse as I recalled the scene in my head.
"It's not your fault, please don't say sorry. Um... can you please avoid talking about this from now on, please?" I murmured, throat drying up as tears threatened to drop. Kaeya seems to have realised the situation and started heading out.
"Breakfast will be outside," Kaeya added as he headed out of the room, dragging Childe behind him. I responded with a nod and waited till they left the room.
When they left, I sat in my bed and looked at the light shining through the curtain. I didn't know what to think. I stared blankly at the curtain and gazed into nothingness. The sunlight seemed dead and my eyes stung slightly. What was the point of living? Shouldn't I die faster to become nutrients faster for this planet? The happiness the world had offered to me had disappeared in just one night, not a trace left. I felt my heart sunken as suicidal thoughts penetrated my mind faster than the speed of light. I saw a glass cup on the bedside table and my body moved by itself. I picked up the cup and smashed it on the floor, making it shatter into millions of different glass fragments. My eyes shakily shifted it's attention to a sharp and big piece and my hand reached out for it.
"With this, I can now join you two," I thought as I pointed the sharp edge towards my chest. My hands trembled but there was no going back now. I closed my eyes and prepared to embrace the impact. Paimon, Lumine, I'll be there very soon...
Tears trickled down my face as I thrust the fragment closer to my chest in one fluid motion. I guess this was my end. To my surprise, I didn't feel any pain. I opened my eyes hesitantly and saw a hand pierced through with the fragment, the tip of the fragment a hair breadth away from my chest. Immediately, I looked up to the hand's owner and saw a woman with dark pink hair cringing from the pain.
"Are you ok?" she asked, even though her hand had just been stabbed in my sake. I panicked and held her hand.
"I'm so sorry hdjagdhadhisahdsiw" my voice trembled as I looked at blood pouring out from her palm. Before I could continue, she took out the glass shard by herself. "NO WAIT THAT WILL MAKE IT WORSE," The panic got worse. I could feel beads of perspiration dotting my forehead. It was all my fault for trying to end my suffering. How could I have been so selfish?! Fat drops of tears dropped off my face as I held her hand and looked around the room for something to help her. Suddenly, golden light flashed on her palm and her palm was perfectly fine once the flash of light ended. I stared at it in disbelief as I held her hand to check for any traces of the wound.
"Aether, I think your tears did this... it healed when your tears touched the wound," Rosaria broke the silence, checking her hand in disbelief too,"anyway, I came here after hearing the sound of broken glass.Thank barsibatos that I came here in time. Why were you trying to kill yourself though??" She continued, worry and frustration laced in her words. I felt my heart weaken at the familiar concern she had for me and words spilled out of my mouth. She gave me a hug and rubbed circles on my back after that.
HDJSHD THE SPELLING MISTAKE 'BARSIBATOS' IS INTENTIONAL. SORRY FOR ALL THE CONFUSION (bcs Rosaria doesn't remember the anemo archon's name)
"It'll be fine, remember that I'll always be here for you when you need," she consolled me, pity reflecting off her eyes. I nodded and cried and the warmth she gave off.
"COMRADE GOOD NEWS! YOUR SISTER AND THE TINY CHILD MIGHT STILL BE ALIVE SOMEWHERE IN THIS WORLD. WELL,ACCORDING TO VENTI," My ears perked up at those words and eyes were shot open.
They are alive?
Hearing those words made my heart race. Maybe I might be able to meet them again. No, I must meet them again. At that moment,a new spark of motivation sparked in my heart. I must climb this 'tower' to find my precious sister and friend.

Hello dear readers. I sincerely apologise for making all of you precious people wait for my story to update. I have been very busy with school work recently and had no time to update this story. I know that that excuse and my apology will never be able to make up for the panic of this book being discontinued and your patience for this book to update. Once again, I apologise with all my heart and hope you all will be able deal with this lousy author. I had some time today so I wrote a very short chapter. I know that this book's story plot is excruciatingly slow but please bear with it. Thank you dear readers for staying with me this long despite all the mistakes and problems I have made. I hope you'll have a nice day :))) {btw I did not proofread this so there may be many mistakes in this chapter}
