The night is quite. Everyone must have fallen asleep but Ling. For some reason he's having a hard time putting himself to sleep even though he had a very tiring day from relentless training.

He get up from bed and put his usual clothes on, went out to his balcony and leaped up the oak tree right in front of his room. He had made a floor out of woods on the top of the tree so he can have a space to lay down. This is his go to place whenever he can't sleep or just want to clear off some things in his mind. The sound of leaves and branches gently swaying and the cold breeze of night air brings comfort to him, calming his senses. He can also clearly see the nightsky from here. Almost everynight before he go to sleep he would spend his time just laying around while watching the moon and the stars, for some reason Ling can find peace just by staring at them.

As he laid down he can't stop himself but take his thoughts back to few hours ago. The moment she entered the room and stared at her, Ling felt an unidentified feeling strucked his chest, its like warming his cold heart in a good way. There is something in her that somehow make him feel they are connected. He can't stop himself from studying her to which he was ultimately suprised with. He never felt the urge to stare intently at anyone before. He had took countless lives of enemies without mercy, occasionally they would include women. He would also sometimes look in their eyes and feel nothing and so what he felt a while ago, he doesn't know what to name it. He can't help but admire her fair pretty face and her wholebeing. She radiates this pure and innocent vibe. Her face has this tiger marks on both sides that inarguably just added to her adorable appearance. Her emerald eyes were mesmerizing and her cute lips looks so luscious, he can only imagine how it feels like when they met against his--"What the hell?!''

Ling's magenta eyes suddenly widen by his thoughts that also made him abruptly sat up from lying on the wooden floor.

"What the hell am I thinking?" he said to himself. Damn?! Why all these shit getting suddenly to my head?

He can't help but shake his head to wipe off weird things that has been running through his mind. Ling immediately decided he had enough of unwinding and leaped back to the balcony of his room. He put on his sleeping clothes again and tried hard to go to sleep, to which this time, he finally did.

Wanwan's forehead wrinkled when the sunlight strikes her still closed eyes. She slowly opened her eyes and saw the room was fully lit by the morning sun. She groaned, she still feel like sleeping but she's starving so she had to get up. She get her usual clothes and bathing stuff and went to the bathroom to take a bath. Thankfully she has her own bathroom inside her room so she can have all the time for herself. After getting neat and tidy Wanwan reached for the door and went outside of her room. She noticed someone is standing on her side so she turned her head to look and once again, the emerald and magenta eyes met each other.

"H-hi, G-good mor..ning." Why did I stammered?

"Good morning." Ling answered simply, again without any hint of emotion on both his voice nor face. His eyes is just looking intently at her which made Wanwan feel uneasy, drawing her gaze away. Suddenly, the walls seemed to be the most interesting things to look at.

And did I forgot to add Ling has a very masculine voice?

"Uhm, are you heading to the dining room?" Okay, so asking him without even looking at him is really dumb.

"Yes." he replied then he walked past her.

She silently felt relieved when Ling decided to walk first because she will definitely not be able to walk properly knowing a man is tailing her. When they reached the dining room only 2 plates were left on the table indicating that Zilong, Chang'e and Baxia had already eaten breakfast. I took the same seat last night and began to eat silently.

I don't know why I feel very uneasy with Ling. I am definitely not feeling the same way when I am with Zilong or Baxia, so why?! The heck is wrong with me??

"Do you have something to say?" Ling casually asked while still eating and not looking at Wanwan.

"What? Nothing." I snapped back to my senses. I didn't noticed that I had been staring at Ling for God knows how long. Gosh, this is so embarassing.

Ling just continued eating his breakfast silently refusing to look at the girl in front of him. When he finished he wiped his mouth with napkins and stood up to leave without any words.

Wanwan noticed there's a rush on Ling's movement as he walks away from the dining room. Wanwan just continued to eat silently and once she finished she cleaned up the table and the dishes after that she went outside to look for the others.
