Kai's P.O.V:

I'm walking slowly in an alley, when I suddenly heard a scream of a girl, I swallowed and then went to see what was happening, I followed the sound to find out a man with dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, a scar covering the left side of his face, he was trying to steel a girl, not older than me, with cherry red hair and emerald green eyes. "You! Leave her alone!" I shouted he looked at me and said "or?" "Or I'll call the police!" He didn't answer he started looking at me then I remembered "you're Ray Smith son, aren't you?" He asked "yes, yes I am!" He smirked I knew what that mean, I started running, and he followed me it is great that I am good at sports or that he would catch me. I quickly called 911. I continued running took a detour and then a dead end, he took out a knife and was about to attack until... "Police! Put your weapon down or we will strike!" And he did that they took him and I went back to the girl.

To my luck I found her on the floor curled up in a ball and crying, I went to her and said: "it is okay, he is gone, stop crying." I tried as hard as possible to sound kind and it actually worked! She looked at me with her beautiful green eyes, "thanks for your help" She said still sobbing. "Your welcome! What is your name?" I asked her while helping her to stand up. "It is Skylor, you?" "Skylor a beautiful name! My name is Kai." "Well hello Kai, It is nice to meet you." "It is nice too meet you too, Skylor" I said while smiling.

We chatted a little bit then, "you are Ray Smith son right?" "Um yeah, why?" "Nothing just remembering where I saw you." I took time looking at her then "Oh my God! Skylor Chen! Daughter of the owner of the best noodle restaurant in Ninjago!" "Yeah, finally you remembered?" I laughed.

We sat on a rock, "oh my God!" "What?!" I asked her "my bracelet! I lost it! It was a gift from my mother!" I looked around to see an orange and yellow bracelet on the floor. "Is it this" "yeah! Wounds, bruises and scars, covered whole of her arm. "What is this Skylor?" "Nothing Kai d-don't worry" she said, I swear I felt that she was about to cry. "What do you mean by nothing?! Your hand are full of wounds and you tell me nothing!" She didn't say anything, she started to cry so hard, I pull her near my chest, she started to sob even harder. "My dad a.." She couldn't continue what she was saying, she was crying so badly I hugged her closer to my chest, "ab..uses me!" Then she continued crying. My eyes went wide, I couldn't believe what she said, is it true? I mean how come, I sighed and said "I know what you are feeling." "No, nobody knows what I am feeling" "I know what you are feeling Skylor cause I am getting abused too." She stopped crying a little bit, she looked at me, "really?" I nodded, I pulled my shirt up my chest to let her see what my father had done to me all those years, she moved her hand upon one of the wounds, I hissed, "sorry" she said I smiled, "I didn't know that Ray Smith is a monster."Skylor was telling me " yeah I know that.

"Kai?" "Yes?" "Can you please give me your phone number?" "Of course, but why?" "Maybe we can talk together whenever we are depressed, also I know that you are so good at all subjects so maybe you can help me in something." I nodded then gave her my phone number, I looked at my Contacts:

When I read Jack's name I smiled sadly, I miss him so much. "Okay, so Kai I should go." Skylor said "okay be careful!" she nodded and went. I should go too.

When he arrived:

I opened the house door and walked in, but when I was going up the stairs: "You are late aren't you Kai?" My heart stopped beating when I heard him, I turned to look at him "dad?" I said.
