Tomorrow I will be leaving for college.
My mother has been ignoring me for the past few days, she has always done that when she wants me to not do something. Like this one time I was going out with a guy and she ignored me until we never spoke again. I am not going to turn down the opportunity of going to my dream college, I'm sure she will come around, I hope.
Putting my hair up in a bun I decided to go downstairs to make some cereal, I took the milk from the fridge and the cereal from the cabinet then started preparing it.
A few moments later my mother came in, went around me, and started to pour herself some water.
Rolling my eyes, I said, "I'm leaving tomorrow".
* Silence*
"You can't stay mad at me forever" I spoke. She left without saying a word.
I placed my bowl on the counter and ran after her to block her way.
"I don't get it-" She walked around me so I blocked her way again.
"Listen to me" I placed my hands on her shoulders and shook her.
"What?" she said, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Why aren't you happy for me?" I asked. Her face softens.
She cups my cheek "It's not that I'm not happy for you it's just that I-" sighing she continues "Never mind, what time are you leaving?".
"Tomorrow morning".
"Ok".
"That's it? I can't believe how you've been treating me. I did nothing wrong!" I spoke in distress.
"Hunny-".
"No" and with that, I ran up to my room.

"Siri call Lila".
"Calling Lila heart heart" Siri replied.
"Heyy Bestie" she sang.
"Hi" I replied.
"What's wrong?".
"Nothing, how was your day" I replied changing the subject.
"Bitch you better tell me what's wrong right now".
I Sighed not saying a word.
"Okay I'm coming to pick you up and we're going to our favorite spot then you can tell me everything".
"Okay, I guess".
I ended the call and started to get ready.
