Narrative POV

Etsuko made it to kenma's place, both of them soaked from the rain. Neither of them had an umbrella, and Etsuko suggested walking to his house instead of taking an Uber. She liked the feeling of rain anyway.

As soon as the woman stepped foot into kenma's doorway, she let out a tear she had been holding. Kenma stepped in behind her, closing the door, and she and kenma both slipped off their shoes.

"I'll start a shower for you, and I'll leave some clothes for you too," kenma says, walking past the crying woman and up a staircase leading to the bathroom and his room.

Etsuko forgot how big kenma's house was. she had been here a few times before, just to hang out or to drop off some clothes he bought you after he'd take you shopping. It was a two story house with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Etsuko walked away from the front door and twords Kenma's kitchen. His kitchen was large as well. She could fit her kitchen and bedroom in here.

The weeping woman sat herself on the marble bar stool, not wanting to get on any carpet or cushion and make them wet. she shivered slightly as the cold caught up to her.

"Etsuko! Your shower is ready." she heard kenma shout from upstairs. she gets up from her seat and walks twords the staircase. she walked carefully upwards, trying not to slip. her head hurt. it pounded but not as much as her chest did. her stomach turned with regret, and her heart skipped with sadness. she felt weak.

"Thank you, Kenma.." Etsuko gives him a small smile as she enters the bathroom.

"You're welcome. If you don't see me when you get out, im probably still in the shower," kenma says with a nod and a slight smile before heading down the hall to his bedroom.

Etsuko closed the door with a sigh and undressed herself. Shuddering slightly as the cold slaps her skin. the shivering girl enters the shower and welcomes the warmth as the hot water rushes on her head and down her back. Etsuko closed her eyes, and as soon as she did, she felt herself cry. she sat down in the shower and held her knees close to her twinging chest.

No sound leaving her lips.

Just slights gasp for air.

Very little sobs.

And her violent shaking as she feels the water rush over her body.

'Why am i crying?' she thought to herself. she doesn't even know if she's  lost her best friend yet. Can she even call him her best friend? After what she did today, she didn't think so. Her mind kept varying from guilt and reason. Etsuko thought maybe if she explained it to him, he'd listen. Then she remembered, she was the one who stayed. She didn't go home. Even after finding out, Atsumu was there.

Maybe she was just being dramatic. She took a deep breath and suddenly felt the need to scream. Something inside of her told her that suna was not the reason she was breaking down. Well, it's one of the reasons. But Etsuko believed she was stronger than this. Etsuko stood slowly, grabbing a wash towel that was left for her and strawberry Carmel scented soap. she washed herself in deep thought, almost missing the music that started playing downstairs.

After Etsuko's shower, she picked up the clothes kenma left her, one of kenma's shirts that she liked and wanted to take from him, and a black underwear set that she remembered buying from Victoria's secret. The woman smiled slightly, seeing that Kenma put into some consideration on what she might want to wear.

Etsuko exited the bathroom, now hearing the music more clearly. she goes down the stairs, seeing kenma sitting on the couch with grey sweats and a white T shirt. His hair damply resting on his shoulders. Etsuko felt a little at ease. She doesn't feel alone.
