Hana's POV

"She is stable now. We just need for her to wake up sooner or there will be some tests to do again" unfamiliar voice said

"She is going to be fine, right?" Jungkook asked

"Yes, I need to go now. I'll come back to check her again" unfamiliar voice again

After a few seconds, the door made a sound and footsteps of someone leaving as well. Then I felt someone sat beside me and held my hand.

"Hana-" Jungkook

I opened my eyes and saw him crying. He was shocked to see me open my eyes. He froze and stared at me for a few seconds but came to realization.

"Are you okay? Do you feel hurt? How are you? Do you feel something? Can you-" Jungkook

"I am fine. Where am I?"

"You are in the hospital" Jungkook said calmly as he heard that I am doing fine "Mr. Yang brought you here and called me that something happened to you"

"What? How did he know?"

"I don't know. He just brought you here. That's all I know and that's what matters. You are fine. When I was meeting someone, I saw an article that Father escaped prison. I got scared and messaged you but you replied-" Jungkook

"I replied?"

"Yes, you said you were going to sleep so I didn't bother to go to your suite. Then I felt nervous, I just received a call from Mr. Yang and he told me that you were in the hospital" Jungkook

"I never replied nor read a message from you last night"

"Then that person who hurt you probably did it-" Jungkook

"It was Dad"

Jungkook's eyes widened as he heard what I said "He went to you? What the fuck? How can he do that-"

"Hana" Detective Chad called and entered "How are you? I'm glad you are awake"

"If it's about the statement. I am glad to tell you about what happened"

Detective Chad looked at Jungkook to ask for permission but Jungkook judt nodded as answer "Alright then but you don't have to force yourself"

"I was in my room last night trying to get some sleep after I took a bath. I was having a conversation with Hyunjin when I heard something fell outside. I went out and thought it was the wind but I saw Dad. He told me the same thing he did when we visited him the other night. I did had a fight with him as I was annoyed, he never felt guilty for what he did to Jeongin's Mom and my Mom. He even asked me to get him out of there. I shouted and told him what he did. He got mad at me and threatened me. He said that I should hope he won't come out out of the prison, alive. I got scared and didn't think of it since I thought it's impossible"

"Can we go back to what happened last night?" Detective Chad

"I was scared and nervous last night but I calmed myself. I told him that he shouldn't be acting like that. We had an argument again. I tried to ran away but I was pulled by him, he pulled my hair. Then I hit my head on him, I tried to take the knife but he punched me and took it. He dragged me on the floor holding my hair. Then he got mad at me and stabbed me after kicking me. He told me things but I don't remember anything. I was weak and trying my best to stay alive. Then I lost conscious"

"I'm sorry I was late" Mr. Yang entered carrying some fruits and food "Do you need my statement?"

"Uhm... Yes" Detective Chad

"I am always at Sanxia Academy to take care of the papers since I was assigned to do that. Also, I have other things to talk about with Hyunjin. I was about to go upstairs when I saw a man wearing a black cap, looks suspicious and was rushing to go out. He has blood on his left hand which you can see when you are near to him. When I caught his gaze, he smirked at me. That's when I recognized him. I felt worried and rushed upstairs instead of catching him. I tried to check on 47th floor which is Hana's floor. I don't think he has motives to kill others, so I thought of Hana. Then I saw the door was open. I saw Hana inside, lying on the floor unconscious" Mr. Yang

After we gave our statement, Jungkook and Detective Chad went outside to talk about something while Mr. Yang was left here with me.

"Jeongin is the one who saw you. He wants to give you some food since it's going to be dinner soon and he has a lot of stocks. He saw your door open and saw you. He called me" Mr. Yang

"Thank you so much. I am probably dead by now without your help"

He nodded and smiled at me. He told me that he needs to go to Jeongin to check up on him while Detective Chad went home.

"Are you okay? Do you feel something? Are you hungry?" Jungkook asked

"I told you I am fine. Don't worry but can I ask you a favor?"

"Sure" Jungkook

"Can you not tell others about what happened to me?"

"I don't think that will happen. A lot of people in Sanxia saw you rushing to the hospital" Jungkook

Right. They will know.
