I've Lost You

You're sicker than ever, my dear friend

But I'll be here till the bitter end

When you're laying on your hospital bed

And I will find that you are dead

All I have left is your voice in my skull

Corrupting my head until it is full

You're speaking to me from beyond the sea

And whatever life was supposed to be

It's all gone now, and I can't resist

Keeping the blade from touching my wrist

You left and now I am lost

I will find you whatever the cost

For you shall be my friend again

Once my sanity is on end

From breaking the cleats that hold me together

But now we'll be together forever

For I will never forget the day

That I was left in disarray

It doesn't matter whether it's true

But I still cry
Because I've lost you...
