Park Y/N's POV

Tomorrow is the 14th of June 2012, marking the end of our summer break. I'm not sure why this year's holiday feels like forever, though. Instead of travelling to another city, I honestly prefer to be at home, feeling all cosy on my couch while watching K-drama till dawn falls. I consider myself as a homebody, away from sunlight so that I don't sweat too much.

My mom has actually invited me to go back home to Busan, visiting my dear grandmother whose hair apparently has turned all white. It's just a matter of time, you know? She thought it's better for me to pay a visit, so that I have no regrets. However, I refused her and thankfully, my dad is such a considerate fine man as he volunteers himself to accompany his wife.

I truly owe him a lot.

Anyways, my mom also mentioned how her best friend had opened a new restaurant nearby, so she decided to pay a visit and offered a bouquet of her own custom design.

That's right. My mom is a florist. Specifically, she's the owner of the oh-so-famous Yangjae flower shop. It's been four years since she's opened her business and everything seems to be going her way, which is fantastic! Her love for her creations somehow affects my interest towards flowers significantly. Ever since then, I've dreamt to be a florist just like her. All of her customers genuinely adore and admire her creative skills, including myself. It's common for her to receive tons of compliments as she always manages to satisfy her buyers' requests. I often help my mom take charge of her shop in the evening; however, today is exceptional. She decides to close her store in the meantime due to some renovations.

While checking at the wooden clock across my seat, reality hits me like a truck.

"Oh my god, it's 4 o'clock already. I need to prepare myself like.. Right now!"

I start to panic and swiftly place my Doraemon mug on the kitchen table. Honestly, I'm craving a cup of hot chocolate, yet I should postpone drinking it since I just poured 250 ml of 100-degree water into it.

I won't sacrifice my tongue for that.

As I slowly peel off my facial mask, I leave my seat and quickly head to the nearest mirror.

At this point, I really regret brewing hot chocolate. The fragrance has gradually pervaded the living room, causing the devil to step into my comfort zone.

"Hmmm.. What's up with the smell, Y/N?"

There he is, closing his eyes so that he can deactivate his other four senses and solely focuses on the scent.

Park Jimin, my one and only brother, and a devil who lives in the same house like mine. He's a devil in so many ways: his wicked grin, mischevious eyes, evil smirk and many more. Apparently, he has dyed his hair back to black instead of red. You know, pretending to be a good boy in the eyes of the teachers.

When I tell you he's a good actor, I really mean it. He always maintains a good image at school. Did I mention how he's so clever in Chemistry? He has won tons of worldwide olympiads, bringing pride to the school and guess what? He's not a complete nerd either who always has his nose in a book cuz he's also a swimming athlete, damn it! Everyone knows how good his physique is due to the excessive swimming training for every tournament. However, no one knows why he's considered short among the guys, but that doesn't degrade his self-esteem. His confidence has soared up high on the sky ever since a decade ago. No one's gonna affect him. Oh, one more thing. Haish. Talking about this makes me feel insecure, but it's the truth. He's a masterpiece when he starts to dance, especially on contemporary. I must admit how dreamy he looks once he gracefully moves his pair of arms and legs, feeling himself dancing with the wind like nobody's watching.
