Joyce's POV
As Tyler and I walked down from the rooftop, I could still feel the weight of my sadness.
"Are you okay?" he asked, concern evident in his voice.
"I'm sorry," I replied, hugging him tightly.
"I'm sorry I didn’t listen to you. Huhuhu, I’m so sorry, Tyler," I cried into his shoulder, feeling the tears flow.
"Don't cry anymore," he said gently.
"No, I will cry until all my tears are gone. Huhuh, scold me for it; I deserve it," I said, still sobbing against him.
"Look at me," he said, and I lifted my gaze to meet his.
"I don't need to scold you, and you shouldn’t waste your tears on that worthless guy. This will pass," he reassured me, wiping away my tears with his thumbs.
"So please, don’t cry," he added, stroking my head soothingly.
"Huhuhu, I can't help it," I confessed, tears still falling.
"You can do it. If you keep crying, your beauty will melt away," he teased, making me smile through my tears.
"Am I beautiful?" I asked, seeking his affirmation.
"No, you look like a kid," he said, chuckling.
"Come on!" I retorted, playfully pushing him.
"Okay, fine. You’re beautiful," he conceded.
"Then why did he betray me? Why did he choose that girl over me? Huhuhu," I lamented.
"Because Sam is blind; he couldn’t see your beauty and chose someone else. If you don’t want to get hurt again, you need to find a guy who will truly love you," Tyler advised sincerely.
"Huhuhu," I cried (¡~¡).
"Thank you, Tyler," I said, embracing him once more as he wiped my tears away.
"It’s nothing," he replied softly.

Tyler's POV
I wanted to make Joyce happy, so I came up with a plan...
The Next Day... At School...
I spotted Joyce sitting alone again. "She’s crying again," I whispered to myself as I approached her.
"Joyce, are you crying again?" I asked gently.
"I can't move on, Tyler. How can I—" she started, but I interrupted.
"Shh..." I said, handing her a towel.
"Joyce, you’re crying over someone who hurt you. Wipe your tears," I urged her.
"Come on; we’re going somewhere," I said, taking her hand and running toward my car.
"What are we doing out here?" she asked, confused.
"Just get in," I urged her.
"But what about class? You’re going to be absent for me!" she protested.
"That’s only right because you’re my best friend," I said, smiling at her.
"We should go back, Tyler. What about our grades?" she continued to worry.
"Grades are not as important as my best friend," I replied firmly.
"You're unbelievable," she said, but finally got into the car.
When we arrived at our destination, Joyce gasped in awe. "WOW!" she exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement.
"Do you like it?" I asked, proud of my surprise.
