P2: Chapter Three: " Detention"

Seokjin finally let out a breath he had been holding in all day. He had finally got finished with his final patient of the day. Sure, he had finished a little later that he would have liked, but he was just glad to be done.

" Everything okay in here?" One of Jin's co-workers, Irene asked from the door way.

" Y-Yeah, I'm fine, just got finished with my last patient." Jin responded, stuttering a bit. He didn't know why, but something about Irene made him...flustered.

" Well, since you finished...I was wondering if you could do me favor?" Irene said cautiously since Jin was kind of known for being kind of a loner at the office, always claimed he had work to do.

" Well it depends, what kind of favor?" Jin asked, now intrigued.

" So, Im taking a culinary class and my instructor said I need to bring in a partner tonight. Would you mind...maybe...filling that slot?" Irene responded, nervously laughing.

" Really? W-Why me?" Jin asked, dammit I stuttered again! Why is this happening?!

" Because! You always coop yourself up in your office! You deserve to have some fun!" Irene said, smiling brightly. At that point Jin just couldn't say no.

" Alright, sounds like a plan."

" Thank you again for letting us use your place, Tae. We promise we won't be here to long." Namjoon said  gratefully.

" It's no problem. But Namjoon...please don't hurt him again. He stayed with us a lot after you two separated, he was...broken. So please, don't put him through that pain again." Taehyung said, looking at Namjoon. Not in a scolding way, just in a 'I hope you know what you're doing' kind of way.

" I have no intention of hurting Jungkook again, he's the love of my life, my only goal is to make him happy." Namjoon responded with so mush genuine love in his voice. Katherine stood beside him, clearing her throat.

" Okay, we're ready now." Jimin said as he and Jungkook walked out of the bedroom. " Tae and I will be in our room if you need us." Jimin reminded , making everyone else nod.

" Hello Jungkook, nice to formally meet you." Katherine said, forcing a smile.

" Likewise."

" Look, I'm going to just cut to the chase, we need a game plan. This can't just be regular dating in secret, both of our careers ride on being very careful." Namjoon says, looking at Jungkook who nods in agreement.

" What are we going to do?" Jungkook asked.

" Well, I was thinking we could just start off doing little meetings like this, but only that it will just be the two of us. Without Katherine." Namjoon said. " Staying too long in one place can attract people. Eventually we can try an actual date, but until then, we'll have to stick to this."

" Will we be able to do...Y'know...other stuff?" Jungkook said, trying to make sure Katherine wasn't uncomfortable. Namjoon smirked at Jungkook's question, making him blush. Jungkook didn't mean to have his head in the gutter but can you blame him? He hasn't touched his Joonie in 3 years!

" If you're comfortable with that then...that can be arranged." Namjoon smirked.

Katherine internally cringed at the sight before her. She was really trying to be okay with this, she really was. That's why she didn't want to become attached, because she knew this would eventually happen. Jungkook would come back.

But she couldn't help, but feel inadequate. A cut at her heart whenever they smiled at each other or they talked about being intimate again. She wanted that.
