*marrinette has just woken up.*
Marrinette: *yawns* Good morning, Tikki.
*nobody responds, so marrinette looks around. When she does not see anybody, she reaches up to touch her ears.*
Marrinette: my earrings... THEY ARE GONE!
No!
*she runs downstairs.*
Marrinette: maybe somebody else got them... I need to look up "ladybug and cat noir" to see if there is a new ladybug...
*she searches the web, but nothing comes up. *
Marrinette: what?! Mom! Dad!
*tom and Sabein both run into the kitchen.*
Tom: marrinette what is wrong?
Sabein: honey are you okay?
Marrinette: what are ladybug and cat noir up to? Does ladybug seem different?
*tom and Sabein glance at each other in confusion.*
Tom: ladybug and who?
Marrinette: cat noir! You know, the superhero's that protect Paris?
*sabeine laughs.*
Sabein: oh I get it! Darling, marrinette is pranking us!
Tom: oh that makes more sense!
*they both start to laugh.*
Marrinette: STOP! I'm not pranking you! What happened to ladybug and cat noir??
*sabeine and Tom stop laughing, and sabeine walks over to marrinette and puts her hand on marrinettes shoulder.*
Sabeine honey... there ARE no superhero's in Paris...
Marrinette: of course there are! Ladybug and cat n-
Tom: marrinette! You keep saying their names but they aren't real people! Honey, are you okay? Are you sick?
*tom walks over to her and tries to put his hand on her forehead to check her temperature. Her mom moves to push marrinette hair out of her face. Marrinette pushes them away, starting to cry.*
Marrinette: no... no this can't be happening! They ARE real, and I am going to prove it to you!
