Ajani POV

A few days after the celebration of my first kill, the cops came to my house to question me.

There was a few knocks on the door before my dad went to open it. He looked at me and shook his head. He twisted the doorknob and opened the door.

"Are you the guardian of Ajani Roche?" a chubby police officer who looked in to be in their late 30s asked.

My dad looked and him and sized him up and down. "What you want with her?" my dad answered the question with a question.

"She may be a suspect for the death of Illmarie James" he replied back

"Oh well ion raise no delinquents, she moved in with her grandma." my dad said then slowly tried to shut the door. The chubby officer put his foot in the door way then spoke. "If she's not here, then you wouldn't mind us coming in your house to search."

My dad furrowed his eyebrows. "The fuck I do, you have no warrant so I will ask you nicely. Please get the fuck off my property before I bring heat."

The police men looked at my dad like they didn't hear him clearly. "Was that a threat Bob?" the chubby one asked the skinny tall police man which I am assuming is Bob.

"I believe so, I feel threatened Joe. I think we have to call back up." I couldnt believe what I was hearing, crooked ass cops.

"Call it what you want, that's one thing yall pigs got me fucked up about. I dont care if I go to jail tonight, cus guess what? Yall muthafuckas' gone be 6 feet under. Which one do you care more about your life or tryna put me in jail?" my dad looked at them sternly.

"Not today Joe." Bob said then started walking away. Joe looked at my father then told him. "I got your ass and your daughter another day. "

My dad finally closed the door then said to me "Ajani you gone have to move in with your momma, cause I dont want my only daughter to be going through all this bullshit. Cause I know these crooked ass cops would do anything to fuck your whole life up." I looked at him and couldnt believe what he was saying.

Moving in with my mom was gonna be hell, gold digging stuck up bitch. I dont know what my daddy saw in that trick. I shook my head no.

"Girl what you mean no? You have to go, I understand your mom hurt you but you gone have to put all that aside. Please..for your favorite man in tube whole wide world." he replied.

I started to giggle. I love my daddy so much, aint nobody ever gone take his spot.

"There goes dimples." he cooed

"Okay, but promise me you'll call me everynight." I finally spoke.

"Anything for my baby girl. This only until things cool down, then we gone be back at it. I love you sugabun"

"I love you too thugga thugga." he gave me a fist bump. Then we hugged it out.

Jovana POV

"Jovana your big sister is coming to stay with us in a few days so get ready." my mom shouted.

My mother walked in my room interupping the conversation I was having with Hakeem and Alayna.

"Who?" I retorted smartly. I know damn well who she was talking bout, but whats there to claim about that bug.

"Shut yo smart ass up. I just got off the phone Tavaris and he said that she's only going to staying with us for a few months. I dont know why but please be nice. And dont bug her. Oh and introduce her to your friends and show her around." she kept reminding me.

"Ok I got it damn." I spoke.

My mom walked out of my room and my friends were looking at me. My friends weren't in my age range or grade range. I was only 15 while most of them were 17-19, they were cool people and didn't mind me hanging with big kids.

"Who's your sister and is she fine?" Keem asked me. I rolled my eyes at how stupid he sounded.

"Her name is Ajani & in my opinion I think I look better then her." I said honestly.

"O then she must be ugly asf cus you aint pretty ya damn self. Her name sound retarded. She must match it." I punched Keem in his arm then hissed at him.

"Suck my ass, dumb ass jit." I retorted.

"After you get rid of them dukey stains off your undies. I peep. " I looked at him as my face flushed .

"I'm sick of your shit Keem get the fuck out." I threw my pillow at him.

I looked over Alayna who was dying of laughter. "Both of yall get the fuck out. Yall giving me a migraine.

Neither of them were getting up, so just threw the rest of my pillows at them. "Fucking bitches."

Ajani POV

I was sitting at the bench where Jody and I always met since we were kids. Today was my last day in Atlanta before I headed down to Miami. I didn't want to leave but it was for the better, I was only doing this for my dad. Lord know what type if shit I would be in if it wasn't for my dad telling the good from the bad.

"Bugaa , im gon' miss looking at that gorgeous face." Jody softly whispered in my ear giving me chills. I turned around and gave him the biggest hug. "Im gonna miss you so much. " I said against his chest.

Jody has been my bestfriend since I was in diapers. My mom was friends with his mom and we used to have play dates. I think that's the only thing ill ever thank my mom for. If it wasn't for her i wouldn't have met my first love. Jody and I finally made things official when he came back from Compton in the summer of sophomore year.

Jody was the player type but that didn't stop me from catching feelings for him. He was 6'3, darkskin with nice set of wicks on his head, pink luscious lips and a nice body. He always kept me laughing and smiling, he was just good vibes. Not only did we hang out all the time but we were like really close before this little fling started.

"I know why you up and leavin' im upset you aint tell ya mans." he released me from the hug and looked me.

I started to smirk "See I was gonna tell you but I didn't want you to judge me and think of me different."

"Bugaa, you know damn well I aint going nowhere hell if you called me up I woulda' help you hid the bodies. I'm from Compton baby I thought you knew. But all seriousness where have you been.." he chuckled. "I got me ah thug ass chick." 

I started to giggle " I'm definitely NOT gonna miss your corny ass jokes." he slid his hand down to my waist . "Girl my jokes aint corny if you laughin'." then used his other hand to pick up my chin. He looked deeply in my eyes with his light sincere eyes then said "I want you to be careful up there, stay safe for me and ya pops. Last thing he wants to know is that his lil baby is doing shit that not even God can describe." he kissed my lips softly then pulled away.

"NO BOYS!" He said sternly then kissed me one more time.

"Wait so that means NO GIRLS Jody, keep ya dick in ya pants." I pulled back and put my finger in his face.

"You know I cant make that promise but I cant try for you bugaa."

"I love you Jody." I said

"I love you too bugaa, one of them niggas try to get wit you, im one call away. Nobody can have you but me."

I wish I could say the same thing about Jody, but there will always be hoes thats willing to give up something that I wont do. Sometimes I tell myself to leave him because of the things he does but we all know that you cant just leave your first love like that.
