I shoved my house keys into the locks of the front door and open it, throwing my purse onto a dining room chair.

Walking over to the fridge, I reached for a bottle of water, struggling to open it, and take a big sip.

That guy, Mason...he was sick. How can he just go out with a different girl every few days? But more importantly how can the girls he takes out, be so blind to what he's doing?

Trying to clear him from my head, I decided to watch a bit of tv until Derek comes home. As usual, nothing entertaining was on, just reruns of Skins and soap operas, but I kept them on, hoping to just watch something to take my thoughts away from Mason.

I don't even care about him, he hates me, and I defiantly don't like him either. It's not like thats going to change by tomorrow, I hope I don't even see him tomorrow, it's bad enough I have to see Kelsey.

My feelings were unexplainable, everything was fine before, then one night, seeing him smoking that stupid cigarette, it's like he purposely meant to have this effect on me, just to mess with my head, like all the other girls he screws with.

Well, I'm not like all of those bimbos, I'm a 19 year old woman, with my own mind and my own thoughts, that I have control over. Not him.

I took another sip from my water, sighed, and went on my phone looking for something to do. Through my apps, I tried to find the most entertaining game, I tapped the screen, and started playing.

Derek came home, and rushed upstairs. I heard his footsteps pounding, taking two steps at a time, and the slam of his door. What was up with him? I asked myself.

I rolled my eyes at him, and looked at the time. It was already 9:30. Since I had work tomorrow, I decided to just go up to bed.

I went upstairs, and into my bathroom. While brushing my teeth, I took my hair out of the braid, and changed into something more comfortable. A loose T-shirt, with Sweatpants.

Turning out my light, I pulled back the duvets and gently climbed into bed, placing my head on my pillow and slowly falling asleep.

I had to walk to work the next morning, Derek had an early shift at the station he worked at. I didn't mind walking to work, it was peaceful, and gave me more time to wake up.

The roads were very busy, cars drove by left and right, their horns shouting at other cars, during rush hour traffic. Birds were churping and dogs were barking, the sun was out, making it hard to see. It seems like there was something going on everywhere, making my headache grow even more.

I pulled open the door to Genies, and walked in, rushing to my locker, trying to avoid Kelsey. I threw my stuff in, turned around, and there she was, making me jump.

"Are you feeling better today?" She asks, while placing a hand on my arm.

"Yeah a lot better, thanks." I said, awkwardly walking around her, to the front counter.

"That's good," she said and waited a few moments before talking again, "so Mason and I stop seeing eachother." I looked up at her, waiting for her to continue.

"We kinda just stopped, he said he didn't want to anymore, right when he dropped me off at work, then he sat down at a table over there." She scrunched up her nose, and rolled her eyes, pointing to where he sat, sipping from his water.

"Well, he does seem like he is a player." I said, looking at her sympathetically, but infuriated with the thought of him just using Kelsey. My thoughts were running around my head. She was just another girl that wasted her time on him, but at least she isn't heart broken, she's not a bimbo, she had to have seen it coming, with how many different girls he brings in here.
