Winter groaned internally looking at the piles of work before her eyes

"She said she will make it up for the work next time" The secretary said apologetically as she placed more paper work on the table
With a sigh she waved it off and start working
She text ningning a message that she can't join her for lunch which the younger replied with it's okay unnie
She was surprised at not ning calling her directly and whining for breaking her promise
But then she understood she must have aeri accompanying her. She remember how the younger girl was fond of the aeri.
She observed how these two became impossibly closer in just 3 months. She was happy for them
Talking about aeri made her think about karina. She promised herself not to give what karina wants, that is her attention but karina would always find her way and squeeze herself in her life.
Like just now.
"I heard you're skipping your lunch again!? Not on my watch"
She would always walked in without knocking like a boss and give her lunch when she don't join them in the cafeteria,most of the time they will eat together in the office making people think they'r girlfriends.
"Stop staring" She said snapping winter from her thoughts, she cleared her throat not noticing she's been staring at karina for too long and eyes at the lunch box karina was holding
"What did you bring today? She asked shamelessly, well she wouldn't say they have become impossibly closer like aeri and ning, they're not even friends but she feels comfortable around her...

Winter cold eyes suddenly sparks as she closed down her laptop ready to dig in on her favourite Chinese crispy sweet and sour pork dish.

"....that was fast" Karina said looking at the girl, ning said it's her favorite dish and everytime she bring guo bap rou winter never failed to surprise her with her speed eating.
"I can't help it...it's so delicious" She said, Karina took the napkins and wipe her mouth surprising winter.
Well it's not surprising anymore cause Karina always does that whenever she finished eating but she can't help but feel her face getting hot.
"You're so cute when blushing" Karina cooed patting her head like she's a puppy.
"I'm not! " She said glaring at her trying to masked up her blushing face
"Your ears are always red when I do that" Karina teased
"Shut up" She warned not baffling Karina as she laugh her ass off. Sometimes she hate her skin for being very white making it impossible to mask her blushing state.
"Are you free today?" Karina asked
"No" Winter sighed sitting on the chair ready to go back and work on whatever she had left.
Karina stand pursing her lips together, winter noticed it's a habit of her whenever she's nervous and want to say something
"What is it?" She asked pushing the girl
"Umm... I know you are busy but there's a party umm throwing by some senior and we are invited.. And umm I was asking if you will come.. Cause ning and aeri will come...and umm I don't want to be the third wheeler"
