End Of Times With You

Chapter 3- H

A week later,

In the morning around 11, Hua's phone suddenly started ringing.

Final exams have already been completed, thus this month is totally free. Hua intended to return home the following day. Because it was a weekday, she was merely cleaning the apartment. She had already finished organizing the novel's remaining sections, so she wrapped some of them to read at home. She's extremely happy with how it turned out at the end.

Picking the call up, "Hello, Yuki. What's up?"

"Your examinations are finally over, right?" Yuki answered. "Do you have anything planned for this month?"

"At the moment no, I am just going home this week. Mom and dad said they wanted to meet me. Kai also called me earlier saying we haven't seen each other for a while so he wanted to go ice-skating with me." Hua responded, attempting to emphasize the importance of her ideas.

"When are you coming back?" Yuki enquired.

"I'm not sure."

"Is something that matter?" Hua responded this time with a question.

"Well, I called to inform you that Huang's father will be arriving on Monday. When I spoke with Lien, he indicated that both of their families are planning a trip to Adelaide for a vacation on Friday. Over the phone, Lien and Huang spoke with the director. They explained about your ideas hence he is interested. On Wednesday, he'd like to speak with you. Do you want to meet them? I'll accompany you." Hua was alerted by Yuki.

Hua was silent for a moment as she considered what she should do, but then she smiled and answered, "Sure. I'll request that Brother Kai drop us off, and we'll pick you up on the way."

Hua already decided that she will meet for the viewing.

"Sounds like a good plan. Then it's settled. "I'll let Lien know." Yuki said before cutting himself off and saying goodbye.

Hua then finished cleaning and ate her meal.

Around 4, she put her stuffs on her car and went back. Hua lives only an hour away from campus. However, she does not enjoy driving every day; once in a while is OK. You can lose interest if you keep repeating the same thing. 

She arrived home around 5.30 p.m., having picked up some gifts for her family on the way because she had been gone for a month and a half.

The next several days passed peacefully as Kai also took a break from work to spend more time with his family. Yuri and Wang were extremely happy to spend some days with their kids. Yuri was over the moon, mostly she passed days alone after Hua started attending university. Wang was busy expending the business, investing in newer plans and Kai was managing the office.

On Tuesday night, Hua just finished showering as she received a text from Yuki saying, they are gonna have a get-together lunch. So they should finish the meeting before that, so they should probably reach by 10. Hua replied back with an ok.

She went downstairs to inform Kai. Kai was already on bed so she knocked his door voicing, "Kai, can you drop me and Yuki off to Lien's after 9.30?"

Kai said in a shout, "Sure. Be ready by 9. Good night."

Hua nodded and retired for the night.

The next morning, Kai couldn't drop Hua off cause something came up in office. Kai left by 7 so their butler, Warren took both of them.

Hua took some chapters in paper and some pdfs in her laptop, mentally preparing herself.

It took an hour to reach Huang's villa.
