The Truth

Dan's POV
It was the next day and I was walking through the park on the way to the shops when I met Sarah. She was sitting on the bench in a pink skirt and a white shirt and a denim jacket. I've always quite liked Sarah but Phill doesn't know that I do.
"Ohh my gosh, hi Dan, it's been soooo long."
"Yeah I know ohh is anyone sitting here ?"
"No, umm here I'll move my stuff." Beside her were 4 large shopping bags full of clothes and one plastic bag for groceries. I went up to her and helped her move the bags, but as I did I dropped the shoes on the ground.
"Ohh sorry Sarah, I'm so clumsy." I was expecting her to be mad with me but when I looked up her I saw she was laughing.
"Don't worry I do it all the time, here why don't you come to my place since you ow me for dropping my shoes." I just laughed and followed her. She lived in a house that was the same as mine and Phill's. I sat down and she brought me some coffee. I thanked her and she came and sat down opposite me.
"So, how are you and Phill doing " I asked.
"Dan surely you know, wait do you know ?" She asked.
"Know what?" I asked starting to get a little bit worried.
"Phill and I aren't dating anymore." As she said that most of me wanted to cry and go and hug Phill but a little bit of me was a little bit happy cause I've always liked Sarah.
"Why did you break up?" I asked and she said she couldn't really put it in words and just felt that there was someone else out there but she didn't know who." I get it " I said and we sat there in silence for about a minute before she said," hey Dan , ummm can I have your phone number ," and of course I said yes and then had to go .We said goodbye and I left.

Phill's POV
"Dan has been taking ages, I hope he's Okay." Just as I was thinking that Dan walked in the door.
" Phill are you okay I had no idea I'm so sorry." And he gave me a big hug.
"Wait what happened?" And he told me about meeting Sarah and their conversation. "I knew you'd find out sooner or later but I just didn't want you to freak out like last time."
"I won't, now come on let's watch TV."
