Chapter 16: A breakthrough

Speed POV

After that whole fiasco in the cafeteria we're now in the library just reading or talking with ourselves, except for team RWBY which they are playing "battle for remant" which honestly makes me wonder about other board games we can have fun and rage with. Anyways from where I'm sitting, I'm sitting next to sky reading about bows, surprisingly there are a lot of knowledge about bows that remant has, but most of them revolve around dust and now around the arrow itself or the tip, still we read only for the advice on how to aim, advance techniques and some hidden techniques of the bow we didn't know about, like somehow changing a bow's direction by using force and wind to change it's rotation, interesting isn't it? We've shifted between a lot of book, from knowledge of this world to weapon proficiency, it's amazing how this world is so advance yet so primitive.

Anyways whilst we were reading trigger and Gaia were talking to eachother, from what I can hear, for another spot on a date, which I subconsciously hold sky's hand, I only notice this once she eep, I immediately shifted my attention to her, and she was blushing, I then looked down to see that I was holding her hand and I blush aswell, I release her hand by my grasp yet she hold it back, I was confused and looked at her

Me: Why?

Sky: W-Well... C-Can we just hold hands like this for now

I smile a little and blush

Me: S-Sure

We both continue to hold hands as we continue to read our book honestly it was a nice experience, we both purred as he continued to read the book.

Suddenly the door opened revealing Amai out aswell as sun and Neptune, they went to team RWBY, in which from what I could hear, Neptune was flirting with Weiss, and jaune having a bad day, one day your gonna see that your barking at the wrong tree. Anyways, after that whole fiasco, sun went to Blake and then Blake just.. left, weird isn't it? I'm not sure what happen, so I looked at ren

Me: What happened?

Ren: Well jaune accidentally told everyone that Blake is a Faunus

Me: ...Huh

Well so much for the disguise, look I think it's better to reveal your trait than conseal it, Hey it's better than feeling really uncomfortable, Anyways that we both finished reading the book and we both put them back, I look at sky

Me: So where are you going now sky?

Sky: Well, I'm not sure

Me: Oh okay

I think for a little bit

Me: Why not come with me?

Sky: Well... alright sure

I smile a little and we both went out of the library and where ever we had gone

We went around beacon for awhile until we saw 3 new people we've never seen before on beacon, but despite the new face, I felt they were up to no good, aswell as sky aswell, but we consealed it very well and looked at them and their stats
