Y/N'S POV
As she tears the white envelope with her fingers, the clock seems to tick a little bit longer than usual, causing me to frown impatiently at the sick of anticipation. giggling right after she saw how agitated I was. She finally managed to open it before reading it aloud.

Dear Miss. Y/n
Greetings!
The 2021 DANO FESTIVAL will take place on June 14th and 15th. It is one of the most awaited events in all Korean residences of all time! Featuring different types of traditional rice cake dishes, such as tteokbokki, Chijeu-tteok-kkochi, tteokguk, etc.
So we'd love to invite you to join us at the D-Cube City Mall together with your food service and catering. The main challenge of this year was indicated below:
Invent/Recreate your own rice cake recipe with a flavor of sweetness!
(Points will be given depending on the judges' ratings.)
Furthermore, we want your shop, or the best known bakery shop in the whole town, to come celebrate it with us and be a participant! Let us know soon what your thoughts about it.
Your participation is very much appreciated. Thank you for reading this letter.
Sincerely yours,
-Bin Haneul
Event Profesionalist.
Gasping right after she finished off her words, she looked at me with wide eyes, before beaming all over with joy. Nudging my elbow unbelievably with a thrill, I tilted my head for just a second, surprised and lost at what we found inside the letter that I had just received three days ago. Making my way to the counter in a hurry, I immediately took away the letter from Lisa's hand to read it all by myself to confirm it. Chuckling when Lisa kept on shaking my arm with amazement, she happily stated,
"Oh my god, Y/n! What a wonderful invitation! Please tell me we're going to accept their off-"
"I don't think so, Lisa-"
"What do you mean Y/F/L/N?!"
Lisa exclaimed in disbelief, grabbing some attention from the others inside my shop. She didn't bulge, but instead continued to stare at me shockingly.
The weekend flew by in a blur. All I knew was I had drowned myself in paperwork yesterday, had spent the entire day signing some of my most important files and documents, and had drank a coffee for the one-hundredth time at three damn a.m.
It felt as if the weekend didn't happen at all. I barely had the chance to unwind and take a breath. With a disapproving look, she resumed observing me as I folded the note into a smaller piece in order to slip it into my pocket. I then simply shook my head and reminded her,
"Lisa, I didn't spend so much time studying and learning Pastry Arts just to make a rice cake dish. It's not my thing, and it's definitely not our shop's thing. "
I blurted, before roaming around my shop continuing to help some of my employees to restock some cakes inside the chiller. Following me with a pout, she once again tried to convince me by saying,
"Didn't you hear what I just said a while ago? This year's concept is full of sweets and icing! We have a good chance of making it to the championship-"
"Lisa, as I said, it's a no."
I cut her off before taking a short sigh. I was about to walk my way to our kitchen to check matters out, only to be stopped by the short haired girl herself, who was blocking my way, completely baffled with what she heard from me.
