You Kill Me In A Good Way

Chapter Two

        Ryan rolls over and puts his arm around Ariel's waist, she lies asleep with Calypso cuddled close to her chest. He rolls back over and checks his phone.

        Zoey: Hey you dtf?

        He looks over his shoulder at Ariel and turns back around, replying to Zoey.

        Him: Yeah I'll be there soon, just gotta get dressed.

        He leans over and kisses Ariel's temple, then slowly gets out of the bed. Calypso sneaks out from Ariel's grasp and sits at the corner of her bed while Ryan gets dressed. She meows at him and he puts a finger to his lips and shushes her, Ariel moans and rolls over, still in a trance of sleep. Ryan takes his hand and runs it down Calypso's back as he quietly sits on the bed and ties his shoes. He ties them in a bow and stands up, Calypso sneaks back into Ariel's arms, Ryan turns the bedroom doorknob quietly and slowly swings the door open then in a speedy motion he slips out the door and downstairs. Ryan reaches the front door and when he leaves, he purposely slams it, waking up Ariel.

        Ariel leans up in a quick motion gasping for air. She looks to both sides of her bed and realizes that Ryan has left her. Ariel groans and lies back down, grabbing the pillow and pulling it to her side, hugging it uncontrollably. A tear runs down her face, she knows what he's doing. He has not done this just once to her, multiple times has he left her after they have had sex. She refuses to call it "making love" to him anymore, because its not love, its pure torture in its worst form. She clutches the pillow and buries her head into its fluffy contents and screams. Now tears fill her eyes. She sits upwards again and Calypso jumps into her lap and lies down. She softly strokes Calypso as the tears fall down her cheeks. Ariel then takes Calypso into her arms and lies down on her side, cradling the cat in her arms, and falls back asleep.
