"You're lucky you got away with just a scratch on your arm." Jets walks in on Spike wrapping my arm with a bandage, "But we don't have the resources for a funeral." I look at Zebra, "I'm sorry." I look at Spike, he sighs, "You got nothing to be sorry about, I'm just glad you're not too hurt." He kisses the top of my head and sits on the couch next to me, Ein started barking, "Can it Ein! Don't be obnoxious." Jet calls out, Faye walks in with a towel under her arm, "Guys..." Faye says, we all walk over and saw tears brimming in Zebra's eyes, "Jet, the Alphacatch." Spike says, he nods.
We hook him to the system, "Shit, this piece of junk." Jet hits the monitor a few times, "Alright, now what do you make out of this?" We saw a fuzzy picture, "A hotel room. Hey, it's Giraffe." I lean over, "That's right, he's remembering the time Giraffe got blown away." Spike nods, "I've got it, release Zebra, this stone has the ability to return time to you." Giraffe's voice was fuzzy and hard to hear but I fish the ring out of my pocket and stare at it, "Now hand Zebra over to me. Zebra!" We saw a gun from the kid's hand and he shot Giraffe out the window, I gasped slightly, "When the gate exploded a coordinate system was created from a result of twisted hyperspace a king of singularity that brought in vast amounts of energy. Enclosing and bringing them into a single stone. The gem that makes up this ring, the same energy broke Wen's circadian rhythm, his perennial body continually produces a substance similar to melatonin that inhibits ageing. That's the theory in a nutshell." Jet explains, "Get the picture?" He asks, "Yeah as if." Spike continues to gear up, "Me neither, so there's no way we know till we stick the gem in the kid and find out." I pass the bullet to Spike, "I coated the tip with a lacquer laced with particles from the gem." I shrug off my transparent jacket and pull on a small upper body harness, "Sweet huh?" I take the bullet back, "Hey." Spike tries to grab it back, I spin on the ball of my foot avoiding him, "Nu-uh, I'm shooting the twerp, he cut me for God sake." I point at my arm, "My point exactly why I don't want you to be the one shooting him, let alone coming with me." Spike looks at the bandages on my arm, "Anything could happen, it could blow sky-high the moment it highs right Jet?" I push the bullet into the barrel and jolt my wrist back locking my shotgun and fastening it to a horizontal holster on the top of my tailbone, "No way in hell am I letting you fire that bullet." Spike throws his blazer over his shoulder and slips his hand around me and takes the gun out from behind, I sigh and don't retaliate, "Yes?" He saw Faye leaning against the wall, "I'm not here for you, I'm saying bye to Nat." She says, "Why?" I look at her, "It might be the last time I see you." She says, "Are you leaving?" Spike says hopefully, "No as in I don't think you'll make it back." She crosses her arms, "Come on FayeFaye, what tussle do I not make it out of," I grin and pat her shoulder as I walk out, I saw Jet hold a cigarette and Spike takes it in his mouth as Jet lights it, "I don't like this set up Jet, not at all." He looks up. I got into the Wolf and started getting wheeled out from the garage, "You know Cowboy, I don't have a thing for smokers much." I put a lollypop in my mouth from my glovebox, "Well I don't have a thing for sweet tooths." He looks at me, "At least they taste better than cigarettes." I stick my red-stained tongue out and fly off into the night, I look in my rearview mirror and saw the swordfish flying after me.
We were in open desert when I saw a taxi driving alone, I used my scope and zoomed in, "It's him." I lock my lasers down and shoot laser bullets at him, he swerves and hits a petrol station, blowing up right before our eyes, I saw him stand up, completely unscathed. The two of us got out of our ships and stare at him, he shoots right near my foot and I don't even flinch, then near my head, "If I count correctly that's the third time you've tried to shoot my woman," Spike stares at Wen, he aimed his gun at Spike and shot his cheek but Spike didn't even move, I gasp slightly and stare at him, Spike takes the shot but Wen doesn't even move, thinking it's a normal bullet, confident until it hits him and he started glowing, we saw him drastically ageing before us until he fell to the floor, he cried out in pain, "I see, yes I can finally die at last, I feel so happy, but I feel like I finally feel at ease do you understand? Do you understand?" He finally breaths his last breath and closes his eyes, "Yeah I understand. As if." Spike grabs his harmonica and tries to blow into it but no sound came out, he threw it into the sky and lifts his fingers up, "Bang." He pretends to shoot, I smile, "Come on Cowboy." I thread my fingers in his and we start to walk back, "Will you love me even when I'm old and ugly like him." Spike looks back at Wen, I laugh, "I'll love you even when you're old and ugly yes, cause I'll be that too." I smile, "I doubt that, you'll always look absolutely gorgeous in my eyes." He leans down and lightly kisses me.
