Today a new transfer student joined our class. He looked like a cheery fellow. His name was something Kuro. I didn't catch his last name. I found it kinda ironic that his name was Kuro and he had black hair. When the teacher seated him, she placed him near me, next to the window. After that, class proceeded as normal. During lunch, he looked lonely so my friends and I approached him. We ate lunch together. We found out that we all had a lot in common, so we traded numbers. Then classes proceeded as normal. Nothing unusual happened until the end of the day, before afterschool. I received a text message from my club's president informing us that all club members were to meet off school grounds at the old hotel that's getting torn down. This was especially weird because our club didn't really do much at all. But instead of questioning her, I just went along. When I arrived at the hotel, I was very apprehensive about entering. I was standing in the doorway, thinking about wether or not I should enter the vacant building when Huro-kun walked up behind me. "Hey, are you going in or not?" He demanded. "Oh...uh.. yeah. Are you?" I replied, embarrassed. "Yeah." He answered. Huro and I entered the building. There in the Lobby were all of my club members but Misa-chan and Kuro-kun were also there, too. "Alright, does anyone know what the hell is going on?" The club president was sitting on top of a wooden crate. You could tell from a mile away that she was pissed. "What do you mean?" Asked Rika-chan. "I mean, why is everyone here? And where the hell is Nero-kun? He texted me telling me to meet him here afterschool. But instead of him here, all of you guys are here. Is this some twisted joke?!?" She jumped of the crate in frustration. "But club president, you sent us all a text telling us to meet you here." Rika-chan pointed out. "See." She held out her phone with the text message pulled up. "But I didn't send that. See." The club president showed us her text history. "There must be some confusion. But anyhow, who the hell are you?" The club president pointed at Kuro-kun and Misa-chan. As soon as she did, the room went pitch black. Everyone continued with their bickering, but then slowly subsided into silence. Suddenly, a white light appeared in the center of the room. In the light was a female figure hidden by a black cloak with the hood up. "Welcome, everyone. Glad you could come," the figure broke the silence with a soft, deep voice that was loud and clear enough for everyone to hear. "I know you are all concerned about the text messages. They were all sent by me. But, I won't go into detail about the matter. I have something more important to discuss with you all. You see, starting today, you will be experiencing moments of ....well, to put it simply, paranormal phenomenons. So, if something that one may call paranormal happens, please do not be alarmed. This is all simply just a test of your strength. On top of that, this is also a death match. Feel free to use the phenomenons to your advantage when going up against opponents. But even though this is a death match, I do highly advise allies. It would be quite useful if you had two against one then one against one. Especially if one was in the middle of a phenomenon. So, with that said, I'm afraid I must leave you off on your own. Enjoy the game!!" With that, the figure disappeared into darkness. Then the lights turned back on. "Wow, dude. A death what, now?" Kuro-kun looked at everyone, then bursted out laughing. "Very funny guys! Wow! You really had me there! It must have taken you awhile to come up with such an elaborate prank! And all for me! I'm truly flattered!" "Uh, Kuro-kun," Raya-chan started. "We didn't do this." Ray-kun finished. Raya-chan and Ray-kun were huddled next to eachother. "Oh just give it up! The gig's up!" Kuro-kun insisted. "Um, we really didn't do this. And you really have no right to accuse us of doing this without any evidence to support you once so ever." The club president brought up. "Oh man! I need to get home! My mom's gonna be pissed. Why don't we call it a day and go home?" Misa-chan asked. "But I bought snacks for the club meeting!" Rika-chan whined. "If that's the case, Misa-chan, why don't you call your mom and tell her where you are and that you'll be home soon. While she's doing that, everyone should do the same." Declared the club president. And that's what we did. Then we all ate the snacks Rika-chan bought and goofed around until we had to leave. "Goodnight," Raya-chan started. "Everyone!" Ray-kun finished. "See you tomorrow!" Everyone waved goodbye and left.
