..one..

i woke up by mom mom shaking me awake

"wake up doyoung, its time for school" she said and left closing my room door

i sighed, today is my first day at my new school. not only am i nervous, but im a bit annoyed. my mom moved houses and i had to leave all my friends, which left me sad because of all the happy memories i made at that school. also the school year was about to end so it was kind of pointless moving schools. as i got up i looked at my room window to check how the sky was, it was cloudy so i decided to wear black pants and a grey hoodie. 

as i went downstairs i saw through the living room window that it started raining. 'at least the weather will be nice and calming' i thought.

"doyoung i made you breakfast, eat up!" my mom said with a smile on her face

i nodded and soon finished my breakfast. as my mom drove me to school i saw how the rain drops would quickly fall on the window one by one, and honestly i was amazed by rain. ever since i was little i loved rain, and til this day i still do. as i continued staring out the window my mom stopped the car.

"were here" she exclaimed. i nodded as i put up my hoodie and stepped out of the car.

"doyoung, promise me youll behave and wont cause any trouble. and please also try to make a friend or two even if its just your teacher" she said while hugging me and kissing my forehead.

"yes mom, now please let me go. i dont wanna be late on the first day of my new school" i smiled

she nodded as i walked off. 'well theres no going back now, ill just try to be as nice as i can and hopefully ill fit in' i thought. 

as i reached my classroom my anxiety grew, once i built enough courage to enter i saw some people staring at me and whispering at each other.  i brushed it off and sat in the back of the classroom trying to avoid as many people as i could for now. a couple minutes later the teacher entered.

"hello class! today we have a new student, doyoung please stand up" she politely said

"hi, my name is doyoung and um i just moved here a week ago. i hope we can all get along" i sternly said

"excellent! i hope you all treat doyoung nicely. now lets carry on with our lesson, shall we?" the teacher said while smiling

---time skip---

it was lunch and i already wanted to go home. this school was ok and all, but i just preferred the people at my old school. suddenly these two boys sit next to me.

"hello, im taeyong and this is jaehyun. were in your class and we were hoping if we could be friends?" the boy who identified himself as taeyong asked

i only nodded, which left them with a smile on their faces. soon we were talking, and laughing with each other. i felt not to sad about moving anymore, because they genuinely seemed like good people, but soon the bell rang which made taeyong whine. 

---time skip to after school---

as the school day finished, i started gathering my things and getting ready to leave. mom said shed still be at work by the time id be out of school, so i walked. although the streets were still a bit wet due to the rain earlier the walk was very calming. not long after walking out of school i got home, to be honest i was happy to be back home. although this house is still some what new to me it started feeling like home already, and soon i got myself some chips from the pantry and started working on my homework.

it was 7pm already when mom arrived home, i had finished my homework already and i was just watching tv in the living room.

"im home doyoung! how was school? did you make any friends?" she said as she put something on the kitchen table.

"hey mom, school was good i guess and yea i made 2 friends." i calmly said as i saw what she put on the table

it was pizza.

i smiled and hugged her

"thats good sweetie, i braught pizza! i felt like since it was your first day at a new school you probably were a little nervous, so i thought it would be a good idea to buy something yummy!" she exclaimed.

she made me smile even more, although i never really had the best relationship with my mom shed always do sweet things like this every now and then.

"thanks mom" i quietly said, and soon started to eat some of the pizza

i was now lying down on my bed staring at the ceiling. i didnt really want to go back to school tomorrow, but i knew i had to go to school. not long after i dozed off to sleep.

hopefully tomorrow isnt that bad of a school day..
