I looked over at kairi with a confusing look, i've been replaying them same words."Kai doesn't like it because people tend to call kairi kai as a nickname when kai is a completely different person".
What did he mean by kai was another person, I was confused beyond confused even i mean I know this is a place for mental illness also but i just didn't know what mental illness he had.
I heard a small yaw and then a clicking of the tongue.I slight shake my head gaining my vision as i looked at the now awake boy.
"Hey"he smiled.
"we need to talk"I stated running my fingers through my hair."That's never good is it"he responded with a frown.
He walked out the cage and over towards me on the couch."Tell me about your mental illness"I spoke looking away from him.
He took a deep breath as he sat beside me, "I have an identity disorder, dissociative identity disorder to be exact, my altar appeared when I was around 11, his name is Kai he's around 16 now he doesn't age anymore he's my caretaker- he makes sure I eat and stuff"he explained.
I just looked at him, and nodded.I wasn't going to pretend like I fully understood because I didn't I'm going to need a little more understanding and experience to fully understand and be able to know when to help him especially get him out of here.
"You don't know what i'm talking about it's okay they never do"he mumbled shaking his head.
"No no, I understand a little now I'll never fully understand because i'm not experiencing it myself but i wanna understand enough to keep you safe and healthy physically and mentally"I told him as i snaked a hand around his back.
