The last thing that my parents ever told me before they were killed was "No matter how horrible life seems you must find hope." I held on to that until no one cared for me, when people saw me searching for food in trashcans and never did anything!!!!! I was just a 11 year old girl living in New York. You would think they would care but really no one cared for me.
Every morning I try my very hardest to try to find hope but it seems it does not want to find me, but I try my best and so I continue my routine searching for food and a shelter, usually an box and sometimes I'll take walks around the park watching children with their moms and dads wondering will I ever have a family?
I don't know what really happened to my parents but what I do know is that they did it for me. That's all they said. I guess it was a big secret through because I asked and asked what was wrong but they never answered, all they said was it is complicated. As I stopped daydreaming I realized I was not on the sidewalk, I was on the road!!!!!!!!
