chapter 3-job

the next day we all went to their job place i guess it's called Junk N' Stuff. we walk in and i see a tall brunette and VERY buff guy.

"hey guys who's the girl?" he said.

"this is our best friend y/n." Henry says.

"oh how come i've never seen her?"

"because she's still kinda new and we haven't had time to introduce" Charlotte said.

"you had months to tell me Charlotte"

"ok Ray dude we don't have time to argue about this" Henry argued.

"ok fine. well hello there i'm Ray. Ray Manchester. i'm their amazingly handsome boss did they tell you that?"

"oh my gosh" Henry face palmed.

"hi i'm y/n and no they didn't." i shook his hand and gave a soft smile.

"so i heard you want a job here?" Ray continues.

"umm kinda and kinda not because Henry's the one who wants me to have a job."

"well maybe you should give some thought into it. they spend a lot of time here. think about it y/n. well guys i gotta go so see you later."

we all went to Henry's house after and chilled for a bit talking and playing games.

"so you guys i was thinking-"i said until i was interrupted

"i-uh i gotta go" Henry says.

"what? why?"

"hm?"

"i said why"

"because i'm needed at work now i gotta go. byee!!"

"i-uh ok"

then Jasper and Charlotte left too so now i'm just alone here at Henry's house. idk what to do his parents or sister could come and i still haven't met them so if they come it would be weird. i have no ride home either and i don't wanna walk so i'm stuck here.

a few hours later
i'm watching the news and these superheroes which are Swellview's best heroes Captain Man and Kid Danger saved these people from some villain.
Henry walks through the door and gets startled
"y/n why are you still here? it's a school night shouldn't you be at home?"

"i don't have a ride Hen and my mom can't. you guys left me here."

"i'm sorry y/n, we were needed at work that's why i thought you should get a job with us"

"idk Henry i'll think about it"

"well um i'll take you home if you want"

i slightly smile "yeah that would be nice"

we arrive at my house and i get out of the car

"thanks Hen"

"no problem i'll see you at school. goodnight y/n"

"goodnight Henry" i smile but before i walk away Henry pulls me in for a hug. i head inside and did my routine and went to bed.
