CHAPTER TWELVE

I HATE SCHOOL NOW

As Aizawa explained the things that you need to know about UA's Sports Festival, you listened carefully and made sure you're processing everything he's saying. Apparently, the Sports Festival is an event in UA every year and aired all over Japan. This is a chance for the aspiring heroes to be recognized by famous hero agencies and if you're strong or recognized enough by the pros, you'll get a chance to be recruited and trained under their agency.

You know that UA is the most famous and prestigious hero school in Japan, yet you didn't expect for it to have a huge event like this to be aired live all over the country. Just by the thought of a million people watching you makes you wanna crawl back to the underground facility you were locked in. You hate being watched and looked at by millions of eyeballs. It's so unsettling.

Great. Another fight. I hate school.

After class, you and Uraraka stood in front of a big crowd outside Class 1-A. Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion as you watch the crowd.

"W-what's going on?" Uraraka exclaimed beside you.

"What business do you have with Class 1-A?" Iida asked this time.

"What are they here for, anyway?" You mumbled under your breath. You want to go home already but these people are blocking your way. You still can't forget about the time when UA got infiltrated and no one helped you except for Shinsou Hitoshi at the general studies.

"Scouting out the enemy, witch." Bakugou said and walked past you, both of his hands are inside his sagging pants. "We're the ones who made it out of the villains' attack. They probably wanna check us out before the sports festival. There's no point in doing stuff like that. Out of my way, extras."

Bakugou came face-to-face with the crowd while Iida scolded him to not call others 'extras' just because the ash-blonde knows them, his arms stretched and chopping the air, like he always does. You find it quite hilarious when he does the hand thingy.

"I came to see what the famous Class A was like, but you seem pretty arrogant." A voice said from the crowd.

Your eyes caught a glimpse of purple hair and saw Shinsou come in front of the crowd to face Bakugou with his usual tired look. Right, you remember what Shinsou told you about wanting to be in hero course, but UA's entrance exam wasn't suited for his quirk.

"Yo, Shinsou." You greeted the boy with one hand raised.

"Oh, (Y/N). I didn't see you from the crowd." Shinsou told you with his raspy voice which made you irked. You're not that short. "Are all the students in the hero course like this?" The purple-haired boy averted his gaze away from you and stared at Bakugou.
