5 hours left before we leave for the airport. I need to speak to Manik but god knows where this idiot has disappeared to. He's not in his hotel room, he's not in the restaurant, he's not in the gaming area. Where the hell is this guy?
"What the hell is going on?" I said in frustration.
"Urm excuse me? Just ordering myself a coffee." I heard a voice call out to me. I turned around in embarrassment to find Kane Williamson, the captain of the New Zealand team.
"Oh my god, I'm so sorry that wasn't for you." I said apologetically.
"I figured. I was only teasing you." He replied with a smile, the smile that many were in awe of.
"Seriously?" I said.
"You looked frustrated, I thought I'd cheer you up a bit." He replied.
"Thank you. I'm just overwhelmed. By the way, congrats on the win." I said with a smile.
"Thank you!"
"And a huge congrats on the birth of your baby girl. Manik told me, I'm so happy for you and your wife."
"That's incredibly sweet of you. She's an angel, want to see a picture?" He asked.
"Hell yeah. I love babies!" I said excitedly.
"Come sit down, I'll show you and let me order you a coffee as well." He suggested.
"Thank you, I definitely need one!" I said with a sigh.
"I can tell." He replied as he placed an order for the two of us. We then found a place in the corner and took our seats. He showed me the pictures of his baby girl and she was absolutely gorgeous. This little coffee date cheered me up so much.
"Thanks for this Kane. I really needed this. Talking to you and seeing the pictures and videos of your baby girl has cheered me up so much."
"You're most welcome. Now whatever or whoever is bothering you just speak to them and let it out. Don't hold it in like this."
"I will do. And thank you, promise to stay in touch. I need to see more of your little girl." I said with a smile.
"Of course, anytime. Have a safe journey to Australia. See you soon! Bye." He said as he hugged me.
"Bye." I replied softly.

I was finishing packing in my room when the door bell rang. I hurried to open it only to find Manik at the door.
"Hey babe, missed me?" He said with his signature smirk.
"Finally you have time to come and see me." I said angrily.
"Sorry yaar, I got caught up with things but I'm here now. Everything okay?" He asked softly.
"Nothing's okay. Come inside." I stated as I walked towards the balcony.
"Okay." He replied shutting the door behind him.
We both went to the balcony of our room and took a seat.
"I'm not going to beat around the bush Manik. I'm going to say it how it is. I'm worried." I said bluntly.
"About what?" He asked.
"About going to Australia. About meeting Naina. About your behaviour towards me. About the way you may behave around Naina. About so many things Manik." I said frustratedly as I ran my hands through my hair.
"Nandini what's there to worry about? Naina was my past but you are my present. I've moved on and so has she."
"Manik I'm not insecure of Naina, itna bharosa toh mujhe hai humaray pyaar par but I'm worried about you. The way you have been behaving for the past day is unreal. You may not realise but you have become so over protective." I addressed my worries.
