This part in the story takes place 2 years ago while dream and George were on call also
dreams pov:

Dream: George look out on your left!
[creeper explodes]
George: oh shoot! Thanks for telling me right before it exploded idiot.
Dream: pff- [wheeze] I'm an idiot now? Geez how rude.
George: haha yeah you are-
Unknown Female: George are we gonna watch it or no?
George: oh- right forget sorry!
Dream: who was that? What? George's secret girlfriend? [wheeze]
George: pff- shut up we're on stream- I'll be right back chat.
Dream: well I'm alone for now, let's read some donos
'George has a girlfriend confirmed?' I don't know maybe, but we should let him explain it-
George: alright I'm back!
Dream: ah and he's back
George: what were you saying?
Dream: well we just want to know who that girl was
George: well her name is Kaitlyn, that's all you guys get to know
Dream: what if we get a sub goal?
George: hmm, fine at the sub goal I'll say who she is
Dream: alright guys anyone who isn't subscribed please do that now we just need 1,000 more subs and he'll tell us!

Not long after we reach the sub goal, because who wouldn't want to know what this is all about?

Dream: that's 20,000! We made it to the sub goal, now tell us.
George: fine she is my girlfriend.

I felt my heart drop, George had a girlfriend? I didn't even know he was interested in dating, then again we never really talked about it. It's just I never really thought he would date someone.

I look back to George's camera and he's gone, he comes back moments later with a brown haired hazel eyed girl, I'm assuming it's Kaitlyn. Of course she was gorgeous, I thought to myself.

We ended the stream not long after Kaitlyn joined us, and George ended up watching that movie with her. I'm not sure why I expected George to not date, it's understandable, but I'm not sure why I thought for a second that he might be interested in me. I'm sure it's just the way that we jokingly flirt with each other but I thought it was more than that.

Months go by and it gets harder to find time to make videos with him or even talk to George. It's because George is always hanging out with Kaitlyn.

Eventually me and George stopped talking, yeah it was depressing, but I felt like it was my fault that we lost our friendship.

Maybe if I didn't hate every time she hung out with us on stream.

Maybe if I didn't get quiet every time they talked.

Maybe if I didn't get sad every time they kissed, or hugged, or held hands

...

...

Maybe if I didn't lash out at him for loosing interest in our friendship.

...

...

Maybe if I didn't love George, we would still be friends.

But then a month goes by and we haven't talked, texted or even seen each other on my smp.

Another month goes by and I'm blocked from his Twitter, and Instagram, and his TikTok.

A year goes by and I haven't heard from him. Not a single word, nick has even stopped talking about George, I meet Alyssa and we hit it off.

Another year goes by and... I'm engaged, calling what I thought was nicks number asking if he would be my best man.

That was until I heard a familiar British voice through my phone.

"I'm Sorry, Who is this?"

I go silent, I can tell just by his stupid adorable British accent that it was George.

Did he not recognize my voice? Did he not know who I was?

So many thoughts rushing around my head.

"This is clay..." is what I managed to get out, and George goes silent.

So many things go through my head, I'm not sure how I feel after not talking to him for 2 years. Is he still with Kaitlyn? Is he married? Does he still stream?

I want to know but I can't ask him.

"Dream?" The British voice breaks my thoughts.

"Goodbye, wrong number." Are the words I said instead.

It's for the best if we don't speak.
