Jorge woke up in the next morning to his phone vibrating by his head. He loomed at the caller ID and it said 'unknown'. Jorge sighed and answered. "This is Jorge." Jorge said. "Meet at the same place today, but we are gonna meet earlier this time at 2pm." Sergio responded as he hung up. Jorge put his phone down and grabbed his pack of Newport menthols and grabbed one out by his mouth and lit it. He sat on his bed and thought about how this job is gonna go this time. Leslie walked in the room and said "good morning, dad. How did work go last night?" Jorge looked at her and sighed. "Work did not go as planned, but things worked out in the end. Speaking of work, they got me going in early at 2pm today." Jorge replied. Leslie sighed. "Ugh. You are always working, dad." Leslie said sounding sad. "I know honey. Want to go grab some food? We have three hours to hang out." Jorge suggested. Leslie smiled real big. "When would you wanna go, dad?" Leslie asked joyfully. "Lets get ready now." Jorge said. "Okay! I will not take long." Leslie stated. Leslie left the room quickly and changed into something nice to wear. Jorge once again picked out his favorite outfit and dressed. "I'm ready!" Leslie exclaimed. "Alright, lets go." Jorge said as he grabbed his keys off the wall and grabbed his pack of Newport menthols that were lying on the table next to the door. They got in the car and made their way to go out to eat at their favorite breakfast joint. Leslie and Jorge both enjoyed their time together. It was now 1:30pm and they just got back to the house. Jorge went to his room to change outfits. He found his black military boots and his black military pants. He reached up to a shelf and pulled his black bulletproof vest down. He grabbed boxes of bullets from the shelf and started loading 6-12 round magazines. He attached the magazines to his vest. Leslie was in the bathroom, so she did not see what Jorge was wearing. "Bye honey! Im leaving for work. I should not be home too late." Jorge said. "Okay dad. Have a good day at work." Leslie replied. Jorge grabbed his keys off the wall and grabbed his pack of newports and lit one. He started his car and made his way to 'El Blanco'. He arrived and parked his car in the same spot. He turned his car off and grabbed a cigarette and lit it. He sat there for a few minutes and grabbed another one and lit it. He got out of his car and walked into the restuaraunt. Jorge walked up to the counter and was confronted by Sergio. "Lets go talk." Sergio said. Jorge followed Sergio to the back office and sat down. "You did real good yesterday, Mr. Guzman. Try to do even better today because its gonna be twice the money today, so nothing can go wrong on our part. The truck is filled up already with fuel and there are three buckets if anyone needs to use the bathroom, so you guys do not have to stop for any reason. I also packed some meals for everyone and there are big things of water bottles too." Sergio insisted. "Also, there are some extra straps in the truck, if all hell breaks loose, there is enough ammo and weapons to kill a town's population. Go out there and make this delivery with no problems. We dont want anything to happen to your daughter, now do we, Mr. Guzman?" Sergio remarked. Jorge did not say anything and he grabbed a black face mask that had a writing of 'El sicario' in red letters going across from side to side. One of Sergio's men came through the back door. "Lets get going." The man said to Jorge. Jorge followed the man outside and the man opened the back door. There were guns, ammo, and grenades on the side walls. There was so much fentanyl in the truck, that Sergio's men barley had any room to sit. There were a few more crew members that replaced the two that died last time. Three sat up front and four, including Jorge, sat in the back. "Get ready everyone! Make sure all your magazines are fully loaded, grab a few grenades and attach them on your chest just in case!" The driver said. Everyone began checking their weapons to make sure they wouldn't jam and made sure they had enough ammo on them. Each person grabbed a grenade and attached them on their military issued bulletproof vests. All the men, but Jorge, begun saying a prayer. "God, give us protection and guidance. Be our guardian angel. If we are laid to rest, watch over our families. So, help me, God. Amen." All of the men said, but Jorge. Three hours in, Jorge looked behind him to get a glimpse of outside from the front windshield. He seen a sign that said 'Sinaloa'. Jorge sat back down and grabbed two grenades and attached them to his chest. He pulled out his silver Smith and Wesson 1911 out of the holder and quickly did a check to make sure it would fire correctly. "We made it to Sinaloa. Everyone get your weapons ready. Lets make sure no more men die and this goes smoo-". Bang! A shot came flying through the windshield and hit the driver in the chest, interrupting his sentence. The man went limp and he was bleeding out quickly. He was still trying to drive and get away from the attackers. The driver had one hand putting pressure on his wound and one hand on the steering wheel. Before the guy next to him got a chance to take over, the man beside the driver got shot in the head, splattering all his blood on the windshield. "I can't see!" The driver said. The man in the front began wiping down the blood for the driver to see where he's going. "God dammit! Shoot these motherf-". The driver got shot again, this time killing him. The truck lost control and veered off to the side of the road. When the truck went off-road, it rolled over a few times, then landed on its side. Jorge heard vehicles approaching the truck. Everyone in the back got knocked out from the impact, besides Jorge. He was in severe pain. He realized he broke his right arm from the crash. The man up front unbuckled his seat belt. The man was dragged out the window by one of the attackers. "Get the fuck off me, nigger! Do you know who the fuck you are messi-". Jorge heard the man say as the attackers began stabbing the man to death. Jorge heard footsteps approaching the back door and heard gravel moving around. He got in cover behind the front seat. The latch on the back door opened and the doors slammed opened. The men woke up as soon as they heard the doors opened and they reached for their weapons. Shot! Shot! Shot! Many shots were being fired. The attackers shot and killed two men. One was injured. The men walked up to the injured man and dragged him out. "Who you work for pendejo?" The attacker demanded. "Go fuck yourself." The injured man replied spitting blood at his face. "Where tf ate you at?" The injured man asked Jorge. Jorge stayed quiet and the attackers were on edge. "No one is gonna save you." The attacker replied. Jorge looked in all the mirrors and seen two regular trucks spaced out and seven men surrounding the back of the truck. Jorge began to climb out the window and climbed onto the top of the truck and grabbed a grenade off his vest and clinched it in his hand. He stayed low and moved quietly, so no one would hear him. He seen a group of two men near one of their vehicles and three by the back of the truck. Jorge tossed the grenade near the two men by the vehicle and time slowed down. He took a deep breath and raised his 1911 and pulled the trigger shooting one bullet at the grenade, killing the two men. The attackers were trying to shoot at Jorge, but they could not see where he was at. The injured man distracted the attackers while Jorge could take advantage. The injured man killed one but then got killed. Jorge was the last one remaining. Jorge ran to the end of the truck, still on top, and jumped in mid air and shot one bullet, killing the three men lined up next to each other with a collateral headshot. "What the hell is going on? Two days in a row, we get ambushed. How did they have all these men prepared that knew exactly what they were doing?" Jorge thought to himself. He looked at the car vehicle on fire and grabbed a newport out with his mouth and lit his cigarette with the vehicle fire. He went inside the truck and grabbed a carbine rifle and ammo. He saw the attackers vehicle and decided to take it. He opened the vehicle door and seen the keys in the ignition with a full tank of gas. How lucky. Jorge backed the vehicle up to the back of the wrecked truck and began loading the kilos off the truck onto his vehicle. He loaded as many as he could and then started the vehicle. Since he was almost to Patrick's, he decided to finish the drop off and get paid. It was only a twenty minute drive. He arrived at Patrick's warehouse and backed the vehicle up to the warehouse garage door. He was about to get out of the vehicle, until the garage door opened. He reversed the vehicle into the garage and was confronted by Patrick. "Where is everyone at? What happened to the truck?" Patrick asked, sounding worried. "We got ambushed again. The truck flipped over and everyone, but me, got killed. I tried to fit as much as I could in this vehicle." Jorge responded. "I understand, you did what you could. Nothing is to put blame on you. But you made a mistake of working for Sergio. Bag em up fellas!" Patrick demanded his men as one of them hit Jorge in the back of the head, knocking him out.
