Prologue
.......................................DEATH
The world was dark and cruel, filled with hatred and death. Everywhere you looked, whether it be alleyways or on the plain asphalt, you could see blood and bodies. The screams, always ringing in the back of your head.
By the year 40XX the human population had dwindled down to a measly 3 billion, and decreasing steadily with no signs of slowing down. There were people roaming the streets with weapons and fear in their eyes, tears dried on their cheeks mixed with dirt and blood.
Some have killed their best friends or families, some just random strangers, and others haven't killed at all. Those are the lucky ones. Not everybody gets to be lucky, some even less than others. Just in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
APOLLO
It all gives me a low amount of anxiety, while walking down the streets nobody even looked my way. Only proving my theory that the virus cannot sense my presence. Making me the only person in the world who is immune. I've given myself the responsibility of saving the world, sounds ambitious I know, but I'm the only one who can...
ANNABELL
My curtains, aggressively closed, have only a few glimpses of light showing through them. "It looks like it'd be a nice day outside... if only I could go out there. But we both know I can't right mr fluffs?" I say to my stuffed elephant. He's the only company I've had for five years. The U.S. government made a statement to stay inside no matter what and not to make contact with anything that's alive. I personally know why this is, I accidentally killed my entire family and three maids who also tried to kill me.
Sometimes I feel sad being alone like this... but if it's to stay alive, then i'll do anything. Including murder.
ASAHI
In Yokohama it's pretty easy to avoid communication with other people, but not always possible. It's terrifying... my best friend was killed and right before my eyes too. I've had the fortune of never killing anybody so far, I was always pretty social so it has been a big difference being without contact with anybody, and not having my best friend there to help me... it's so much harder than I thought it would be.
I'm glad I don't live with my family though, I would tear myself apart if I killed any of them. This virus is terrible. Nobody can fight against it, or so I've been told.
I wonder if airlines are still working. I should check.
DEATH
"Those three... they will be the ones to save me..."
...........................
"Or they could be brutally murdered in the process. Either would do."
