Continuing on from the last chapter.
"Harry could I see your wrist please" Remus said casually but with a serious tone in his voice.
Harry was confused but made his way over to Remus anyway and held out his wrist.
Remus examined his wrist and chuckled lightly to himself.
"Remus? Why are you laughing!? What is it?" Lily said, knowing all too well that Remus knew better that to laugh in such a serious situation. something else was going on.
"Lily, this is no tattoo. It's the mark of a soul bond." Remus admitted. At that Sirius smiled to himself fondly.
James and lily both had shocked looks on their faces. "W- what?! Are you sure? I thought they were almost impossible!" Lily exclaimed.
James was shocked and a sudden smile slowly crept onto his face.
"Um what is a soul bond?" Harry said looking around the room and everyone shocked but slightly happy faces, and his mother's relief from this mark on his wrist not being a tattoo.
"A soul bond is a very special bond between two people. They used to be common but peoples feelings of true pure love has died down over the years. Nowadays the are almost impossible to find. They are seen as one of the biggest blessings that could ever happen to a person. It does come with consequences though. One cannot live without the other, they need to be together majority of the time, they are marked on their wrists, if they aren't together for long periods of time they can get very sick. But it does come with certain powers such as reading each other's mind, feeling each other's emotions and physical feelings, and loads of other stuff. It can be intense but the blessing of feeling love that people nowadays aren't capable of feeling is a blessing in itself."
Remus told everyone.
"Wait- mind reading?" Harry questioned, all his thoughts going back to that day in the hospital.
"Yes, why Harry?" Remus questioned.
"Um" Harry started. "That day in the hospital...with Ginny... um we sort of read each other minds, and now we can do it whenever we want."
Everyone in the room shared amazed looks and everyone smiled lightly.
Soon enough, the weasleys, Sirius, Remus and the potters were all stood in the kitchen. Remus explained to everyone what the marks on their wrist were. Everyone was amazed, especially Harry and Ginny. They shared a look and chuckled lightly to each other, thinking about just how crazy this all was. The marauders were watching them, meddling in the newly blossomed relationship.
