Els outfit placed above. Also I'm having severe writers block but I really wanted to update so here we are!:)

The Next Day...

I wake up without a wet pillow for the first time in 6 months. Wow, is all I think. It's shocking how one person who you haven't even spoken to can completely change your nightly mindset. I simply get up then look outside for a mere moment to see it is a beautiful day, the sun is shining, the sky is nicely blue and that brings a smile to my face.

I do the usual routine a quick shower, moisturizing, but I've decided to not pass the flat iron and let my natural waves fall a bit beneath my shoulders. Then I get dressed into my graphic tee with baggy jeans and my usual black vans.

I go downstairs to notice Joyce obviously being up but getting ready to leave for work, Jonathon taking pictures of the sky through the window and lastly but shockingly I notice Will getting off the phone but as soon as I get fully downstairs Will gives me a very weird look then goes up to his room to get ready I would presume. I say my usual good mornings then resume the task. Making my rich in protein, utterly delicious, cereal.

But the time goes by quickly and next thing you know Jonathon has already gone to school leaving Will and I to go on our bikes. As we ride to school  I can tell Will is caught in thought. "What you thinkin' about, bowl brain?" I ask in a questioning tone while Will gives me a weird look. "So, I have to tell you something about... about Mike." He says in a low tone then looks down. "Basically Mike started dating the cheerleader 5 months ago. The cheerleader is visiting family down here in about a month and Mike has decided to come with... But the parties also coming! So, at least you can see them." I take a minute to process everything ' 5 months ago' cannot leave my mind. He moved on so quick while I'm stuck in the same emotions I've been in for the last 6 months. Nothing but done.

Before I can get more lost in thought I am quick to realize we have made it to school. As we leave our bikes at the rack Will gives me one last despairing look before disappearing into school. Luckily I am quick to catch up before the bell rings, before Miss Shahidi can get mad. She says her usual greetings as Will and I sit at our usual desk but then I notice more students flowing inside the class but then she comes in the girl I could not stop thinking about even if I tried. "Class, today we have a project on your choice of item regarding something we all hate, mold! I have chosen partners for you all so please listen to the following. Will Byers with Jaeden Martell." The rest she says is all a blur up until the point I hear my name. "Eleanor Byers and Marina Shahidi! You all should get started right now." When I hear that I go into shock till I feel Marinas presence next to my chair and I can't look to Will since he had already gone to Jaeden.

"Hi." Is all she says subtly but it still sounds lovely before taking a seat next to me while Miss Shahidi hands out our worksheets. "Hello" I simply say but it still comes out as it is, me being a nervous wreck for no reason whatsoever. "So, since we're obviously not gonna finish this in class would you like to come over later?" I just sit in oblivion for a mere second before replying "Sure what's your address?" I say lying since I've literally seen that she's my neighbor. She ripped out a small piece of paper from notebook before using my pen and writing out what I'm assuming is her address, then she passes it to me, I quickly notice she wrote both her address and number. "I live there too but my house is 1509 not 1609." I say with a chuckle. "Yeah I recall seeing you on your bike while I was leaving but I did not say hi because... well it was too early." Marina says with the most beautiful laugh I think I may have ever heard but the bell ruins my moment of happiness. Marina and I collect our things then go our separate ways.

Time Skip To Lunch...

I walk up to Will before sitting down with my lunch tray which consists of some nasty ass looking salad, chocolate milk, and of course a squashed ass orange. I take a look at my salad before stabbing into it then taking a quick bite but before I can take another bite I see Marina talking to one of the guys on the football team. I don't know why but I feel a large pang of jealousy hit my system. Before I can think on it, "Earth to El? Hellooooo?" Will says waving his arms up and down surrounding my face completely , I just slap them out the way. "What would you like William?" I say obviously annoyed. "Well, I would like to say that Jaeden is coming over so please do not blast music. That's my only request, you can resume your gazing at Marina." He says while taking a bite into his Ham and Cheese sandwich. "Well, I would like to say that I'm going over to Marinas after school so my amazing music will not be blasted today." I say mocking his overly fancied manner. "Oh and I know this is not really what you would like to hear but luckily when Mike comes he will be staying at his girlfriends house and the party will be staying with us so you and Max can share a room and do all your weird girl stuff." He says quickly at the part about Mike but dear I heard.. Girlfriend no matter how many times I think on it, it still hurts just as much. Will quickly dumps his and my food in the garbage before walking to his next class with me following the same routine.

Time skip to after school (sorry)...

"So, how was your day El?" Will said I simply replied with the usual response 'pretty good'. Our bike ride was rather short but Will was giving me a weird look as we entered our block. "I thought you were going to Marina's house?" He says giving me a weirdly sympathetic look probably assuming that she cancelled on me. "Actually, Marina is our neighbor." I say with a smile as we take a second to go our separate ways. I park my bike in front of Marinas house before ringing the doorbell which had the most terrible ring ever. The door opens to a man who looks almost exactly like Marina but not Marina so I can assume it's her brother. "Hello, I'm looking for Marina, We're working on a science project together." I say with a smile. Before he gets to reply Marina runs in and slips in the space that dude was in. "Sorry about that my brother, Marcus, tends to be very quiet in any of the slightest social situations but anyways come inside my rooms upstairs to the left." Marina says and I quickly follow the instructions with her behind me. The door was open but her room is so nice it's a light shade of pink with posters all around a desk next to her bed, a white nightstand next to her bed with a lamp on it. In other words it was very nicely decorated but slightly messy considering theirs clothes on the floor and the desk has a bunch of stuff scattered around it. "Nice room" I quickly say before she hops on her bed patting the side leaving me to put my backpack on the ground and sit next to her. "Sooo how was your day?" I say not knowing what to say. "Pretty good, The jocks were being so fucking annoying today. It's like Jack can you not tell when someone does not like men!?" She says with a grunt which left me in oblivion. Marina doesn't like men? Girls don't have to like men? I was just in pure confusion at her words. "What's wrong? Cat got your tongue?" She says looking me in the eye. "No I'm just confused. You don't have to like men?" I say with obvious confusion.

"No, El you don't. You've never heard of a gay person?" She says with a sympathetic look, then facing towards me. "Um no I guess I haven't. It just never crossed my mind I guess. It sounds nice though... to not like guys. Liking guys is weird it just does not feel right. But I guess that's just me." I say with a chuckle thinking of how nice it would be to like women instead of men. I know it would be hard but damn how it sounds so nice-. "El, have you ever thought of liking women? Maybe you've seen a girl you could not get off your mind? A girl you've  had dirty thoughts about? A girl you've never felt jealous over?" Marina says which leaves me in thought. I'm very quick to realize that all she said was stuff I thought about her-. I have not known her for long but she has not left my mind. Marina has made me think so many things I've never thought about. Can I- Do I like Marina? Do I feel a bit of attraction to her? This is all so confusing.

I know this chapter was not the best but My writers block has been terrible so spare me lol.
