"I love you"
Those words stuck in my head.
It just kept replaying and replaying.
The moment he said it I felt like it was just me and him hugging not knowing what was gonna happen next.
He walked off and never looked back. I stared and then walked up to Sarah. I locked eyes with Wilhelm one last time before the car had left zooming off into the distance. Being there any longer was not an option and i walked relatively fast to the direction of the bus station. Sarah and I hugging all the way there.
I spent my time on the bus staring out of the window. The ride to my house felt extremely long. Near me i could hear someone snickering and starring at me. I knew the reason was from the video. I tried to pretend i didn't hear them. Hearing them talk about it made me think of Wilhelm. The one person i wanted to forget. I try to shrug it off but he kept rushing back in my head. I close my eyes from being overwhelmed then later i hear Sarah's voice.
"Simon, our stop is here."
I open my eyes slowly and grab my stuff and shove Sarah out of my way. I run out of the bus trying not to make a huge scene but i wasn't myself.
