In the dark of Knight

Chapter 4

It felt like morning had come so much sooner than it usually did to me. I was dreading Master walking through the open door because I was afraid of what he would do. There were so many things he could do to me. The worst I could think of was him sending me back to the auction. I had made myself so afraid that I was already whimpering and trembling by the time I saw masters feet.

"Hush Pet I'm not angry with you anymore. You took your punishment very well. You are forgiven."

"I jumped up whining and whimpering happy because my master had forgiven me.

"Easy Pet. I have already dressed for work and don't need you knocking me over and ruining my suit."

Master walked up to me and removed the chain from my collar. "Lets go girl I have two meetings o get to and I don't need to be late you can eat in my office."

I followed my Master out the door happy that he was n longer angry with me.We went out the door and got into the car that we were in the other day and Master buckled me into the the seat by my collar but left the strap for my back and the boots off of my feet.

We pulled up to a large building and Masters driver opened the door to let us out.

"Stay next to me girl. I don't want you to get lost in a building this size."

I felt a little uncomfortable after walking through the doors and seeing all the people walking around. I whimpered lowly but Master must have heard me because he turned around to look at me. He said and pulled a thin leash from his pocket. "Here Pet this will make you feel better." He said as he clipped the leash onto my collar. He was right it did make me feel comfortable knowing he couldn't lose me. 

We walked into the elevator and it took us straight to Masters office he let me in and unclasped the leash. After the leash was off I walked around the room checking out the surroundings.

"You will stay in here while I go to my meetings Pet."He patted me on the head and then walked out the door.

A little while later a man walked through the door he put two bowls down on the floor." Your Master said that you hadnt eaten yet and that you needed to." He set the bowls down and left out the same  door he came through.

I fnished up the food and water nd wen to lay on the dog bed next to Masters room. I fell into a deep and dreamless sleep waiting o my Master to fnish work.
