Chapter 11

I woke up to the sound of the birds and the sound of a kunai hitting a target. I quickly got up to see that my brother Itachi was training with some kunai. He had just landed all of them on a target while upside down and landed with his back facing me and one knee on the ground.
I watched as he stood up and looked at me in the corner of his eye. He then looked back at his targets.
"You've been out for a while sister." Itachi said.
I got up ignoring Itachi and walked over to another part of where I was training. I took out my fans. I then began to work on some of my wind jutsu. I ignored the fact that my brother Itachi was watching me as I trained.
"What do you want Itachi? I know you didn't come to just watch me train."
"We need to talk." Itachi said.
"There is nothing to talk about." I said as I jumped up into the air and swiftly took out some shuriken and threw them towards the target. I then did a flip and landed. Looking up I saw that I had finally done it perfectly.
"Yes we do. I've seen that you can use one handed jutsu like me." Itachi said.
"So what? I can also do jutsu without hand signs as well. So what?" I said annoyed.
"Just be careful, the clan could use that to their advantage or even an enemy." Itachi said.
"I'm not going to let that happen. I was loud and clear when I told father I would not be used as a tool for our clan." I said.
"Still be careful. You made hate me, but you are my twin sister."
I did some hand signs and did my Fire Style Flower Shuriken Petal Jutsu. After I was done it a tree was completely burned. I then turners to face Itachi. I walked over to him so I was standing in front of him. Of course he was little taller than me since I was only 5'3 and he was 5'9.
"I don't hate you," I started as I looked at Itachi. "if anything I am jealous of you and Sasuke I'll admit. Before you ask why, you should already know but if I have to tell you I will. I am jealous because no matter how much I improve in my training and fighting. I will never impress father. I will alway be in both you and Sasuke's shadow. But it's okay. As long I know I am improving. I am happy." I said with a small smile.
"Sister. I'm sorry. I don't want you to hate me though. You are my twin and I want you know you can trust me."
"It's okay. I'm fine on my own. It's been that way since we left the academy. What makes now any different?" I said.
I then turned away from Itachi and continued to train.
