Taehyung still got her things in his room. He still got her clothes hanged in the closet, her perfume, the book she'd read before sleeping at night, and her favourite white slippers she liked to wear.
But he no longer had her in his room.
He missed her on the side of his bed.
Two days without seeing her face. Two days lacking Y/N. The love of his life, the girl who makes his heart flutter. Taehyung didn't blame her for forcing him to leave her alone, it must be hard knowing that you're a mother out of nowhere. Also, the fact that Taehyung carried her baby away from her must have hurt her.
It was tough. Being away from Y/N was hard. And what made it even harder was the fact that he didn't know she was taking time to progress everything that was just revealed to her, or she was intending to be away from him for the rest of his life.
He felt like the loneliest person on this earth when he saw her walking out of the hospital room yesterday. His whole world fell apart, and all he could do was watching her blankly.
"Daddy where is Bee? It's been a very long time since she is in hospital, why isn't she coming back?" Haru asked Taehyung as he helped her change into her sleeping clothes.
Taehyung cradled the small girl's face in his big hands and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. "She'll be back... Soon." He reassured the little girl and let out a sigh. "Now go to sleep. You don't wanna wake up late, do you?"
"Okay. But will you come and lay with me until I fall asleep?"
He flashed her a small smile, his eyes shining seeing the copy of Y/N in front of him. Her eyes shining, the brown colour lighter than the ones of her mother, Y/N.
The shining eyes which always were full of love when she looked at him. The eyes held life and happiness, as well as sadness.
And with those eyes, you could set the whole sky on fire. But you chose to burn me instead.
Taehyung laid beside the daughter of his lover who by now was like his own daughter too. He had never told the little girl that she is not his real child. He had never told her that she has a mother but a mother who had forgotten her and never had seen her.
But when one day Haru came home from school, shedding big thick tears while asking why she does not have a mother like her friends, he told Haru that she does not have a mommy like other kids, and that it is okay and that not everybody has mom or dad.
He had told her that she does not need a mom since she has him. He had said that he will be a very good father to her and that she can always rely on him. Trust him. Cry in front of him. Play with him. Shop with him.
And he told her that he will always love her with his whole heart.
And now while looking at her form in his embrace with closed eyes, he wonders will Y/N take Haru away from me?
He had seen what real pain is; watching your loved ones getting away from you without doing anything.
He still can not forget the day when the doctors informed them about Y/N's lost memories. The day he took mini Y/N and flew away from Y/N.
He still can not forget the pain he felt the first few months being away from his Y/N. It was so tough. So hard, it felt like a stab in his heart every second.
He again gained Y/N back. But yet again he lost her, and he does not want to stand helplessly watching Haru getting away from him too.
His chain of thoughts was interrupted when Haru tapped his chest lightly, trying to get his attention.
