"Andii, what the mushrooms are you doing on the floor!?"
"You scared the crap out of me, Leoni! I thought I was meeting you all at the park?"
"Well the boys know how long you take getting ready, so they've sent the number one messanger to get you moving!"
"I don't take that bloody long!"
"Hey, no shooting the messanger!" she held her hands up in a surrender.
I gathered up my phone and my iPod, heading off with Leoni to meet up with the boys. The park is only a quick 10-15minute walk down the opposite end of my street and 3 blocks to the right. When we arrived, Justin was sitting on the square platform on the playground and Chaz next to him hanging upside down on the red ladder.
"Hey Andii!" chaz chuckled. "You're upside down you know!" I chuckled trying to remember why we were even friends.
"It's not like I'm here or anything..." Leoni grumbled.
"Hey Leoni!"
Leoni flipped him the bird and continued on to greet Justin, jumping straight into conversation about something I could care less about. We chatted and hung out for about an hour when Justin suddenly nudged me on the shoulder and tilted his head towards the swings. We raced eachother to the swings, Justin on the big swing and I on the baby swing, my ass hardly fit. I pouted out my bottom lip at Justin attempting to look cute trying to make him swap swings, he just shook his head and chuckled at my childishness.
"You're not getting this swing, I won," Justin commented "Don't pout at me, it makes you look like a retarded fish." he winked at me.
"Shut up!," I smacked him on the shoulder lightly making him swing sideways, I chuckled softly.
"I let you win!" I retorted
"Yea right" he rolled his eye's. We just looked at eachother giggling at our weird argument.
"So how's Jaxon? Is he due out yet?" I asked, just like every other day.
Justin's mood changed dramatically as I expected it would. His jaw tightened as his eye's looked hardened and strained, like he was about to wack something, hard. I looked away not able to see him like this. It's hard for all of us I thought to myself.
"Let's explore!" I exclaimed, noticibally trying to change the mood.
Justin was thankful that I'd switched subjects and his mood suddenly changed, I could tell by the slightly relaxed expression on his face and the small forced smile he was giving me.
"Alright. Chaz!, Leoni! Let's go, the warehouse it is!" I motioned them over to me leading them down the street to the opposite way that Leoni and I had originally come from.
The warehouse,or more commonly known by my friends and I as, 'The Hideout'. Leoni had been the first one to find the hideout in grade 7 and dubbed it hers ever since. All four of us have been friends from back in grade 5 and stuck like super glue since then.
Justin walked up to the barbedwire boundary fence near the big old oak tree; also our escape route; hehe, and asked Leoni where the entrance is this week. Every week Leoni came out and put all the cut wire back from the week before so it wasn't obious that someone had broken in; What? you thought we just made a hideout in an old un-used warehouse, where's the fun in that?
Leoni directed us around to a section of the fence that we hadn't yet gone through before, making sure there were no camera's on this side of the warehouse; although we knew there weren't any, it was always good to double check.
