part three

Virat had pulled over the car outside the beach. He had always wanted to get sai here, he had most of his childhood memories attached to this place.
" Beach?" Sai exclaimed in surprise. She had not excepted this.
" if You don't want be here, Sai we can go somewhere else if you don't want ..."
Sai interrupted" Virat sir no I'm surprised and actually I like beaches"
Virat smiles, " you know Sai me and jeeva used to come here every weekend during our childhood" sai smiles brightly hearing it. Sh had missed hearing his stories.
" Accha" she exclaimes. Virat nods at her smilingly, he interwins their fingers together as he takes her in. If sai was surprised or shocked by his gesture she did not express it. She had butterflies in her stomach by his touch.
Virat had stopped few feet away from the water with sai inhaling the fresh air. It had been months he had come here, since jeeva went away he had never dared to come here but somehow he had brought sai here.
" Virat sir why are we standing here, I want to go in" sai points towards the waters.
" But sai, we will get wet" virat replies to her. Sai faceplams herself hearing his reasons.
" Virat sir for a police officer you're too dumb. People come to the beach to play not to stand here and see the scenery. If that was the case I could have goggled the beach name and seen the scenery"
" But sai.." Virat tries to make her understand. But when was the time sai had ever listened to her husband. She quickly frees her hands from him and runs towards the water. Sai was careful to not get herself fully wet, she has removed her sandals and has only let her feet touch the water. She relished the feel of water touching her feet peacefully.
Virat stood few feet away from his wife, enjoying her happiness. Sai had all of sudden turned towards him, and rushes towards him. " Virat sir, please come with me" she pulls him towards the waters. Virat protests meekly before giving in to her demands, he removes his shoes and takes her hands, walks with her towards the waters. Sai flashes him her radiant smile which lits his face up. It sometimes surprises Virat that how sai brings out the child in him so easily, his family may find it weird but he is so himself with sai than with any of them.
" Sai what are you doing?" Virat exclaimes in surprise when sai started splashing water on him. A mischievous spark glinted in her eyes as she continued splashing more water on him, Virat glares at her for a moment before he starts splashing water on her. Sai who did not see that coming tries to run away, virat chases her playfully and somehow gets towards her much faster ( police training helps in this manner). Much to Sai's surprise he sweeps her off her feet and spins her around, " want to play more sai" his husky voice makes sai nervous but she frees herself and looks at him confused. Virat shrugged not giving any sort of explanations, " dinner" he asks her. She nods at him and both of them leave the beach.
They had not gone to some luxurious hotel instead Virat had taken sai to dhaba.
" You remember" sai asks him, she remembers mentioning to him that how punjabi cuisine is her favorite but she never thought he would remember.
Virat nods at her" I can't forget anything related to you". Her lips bloomed into a smile hearing it, virat felt his heart leap looking at her smile which makes her more beautiful.
Sai and virat ordered their food and were waiting for their order. " Sai what do you feel about going to delhi?" Virat breaks their silence. Sai looks up to him in surprise with his sudden question.
" I don't know virat sir, why are you even asking about it?" she enquires.
" I have been thinking about it for days, I have even talked to dcp sir for the transfer" virat says to her," but virat sir how can you leave?" Sai interjects herself before virat could even complete his sentence.
" I'm not leaving alone sai, I want you and usha mausi to come with me" virat explains to her.
Sai frowns," what about my college and my studies?"
" You think I will not think about it, you can take transfer from your college to the Delhi branch Sai and I'm sure your principal can do that for you" virat reasons to her.
" But why virat sir? Why do you want to leave this place?" Sai asks him curiously.
" I don't think my family is going to behave well with you Sai, I don't want you to put up with their tantrums everyday because of me" he says to her.
" You're ready to leave your family for me" sai asks overwhelmed by his concern for her. She contemplates putting up with his family for his sake.
" You're my family too sai" virat clarifies to her.
" Don't think about anyone, Think about your comfort and say to me if you are willing to come to with me" virat asks her looking into her intently.
Sai takes a few minutes before she reaches towards his hand, squeezes it," I am okay with it"
He beams at her decision and tells her not to worry about anything else and anyone else. He would take care of everything for her and her only job was to study and become a doctor for now. They have their dinner without any awkwardness and fully discussing about the last few days.

I literally don't know how this part has come because I struggled a lot to write on sairat because I believe I have lost my connect towards them mainly because of virat's behaviour but I don't want to leave my ffs incomplete, I know how it feels for a reader when someone leaves ffs incomplete. So I am not leaving any of my sairat incomplete. I will complete whenever I get time to do so. I know recent episodes virat is treating sai very good but I don't trust the writers anymore. God knows when they will flip and by the way it is going we have the character doubting track and Suicide track coming up soon.
