RAIZADA MANSION:

Backyard GardenFury burned through Arnav like wildfire, his fists clenched so tightly his knuckles whitened. That jackass Aman had spilled everything to his family without a word to him. Who gave him the right? The urge to throttle his friend surged, but he forced himself to move, his steps slow and heavy as he approached the garden. Laughter and joy filled the air-his family celebrating what they thought was glorious news.

"Mom, Dad, Dadi, what's going on?"

Arnav asked, his voice cautious, masking the storm within. "You all look thrilled. Something I should know?"

His mother, Ratna, beamed, her eyes sparkling. "Of course, Chote! Who else but you? You've given us such happiness. Aman just told us you love someone and plan to marry her!"Arnav choked, his gaze snapping to Aman, who shrank under the blaze of his glare.

Confusion flickered in Aman's eyes-moments ago, Arnav had been spitting fire at him, and now this? The tension shattered as Ratna's excited voice cut through.

"I can't wait to meet my bahu!" she gushed. "Oh, I'm so happy! I want to bring her home now. There's so much to do-shopping, food, jewelry..." Her words tumbled out, a whirlwind of plans, while Subhadra, his dadi, smiled at her daughter-in-law's fervor.

Arnav rolled his eyes, exasperation rising. "Mom... Mom... MOM!" he interrupted, his tone firm.

"Relax. Do whatever you want, but I have one condition. You can meet her whenever, but the wedding happens in ten to fifteen days. No sooner."

His parents, Subhadra, and especially Aman frowned, puzzled. Subhadra's voice was sharp. "Why, Arnav? Why delay a week or two? You love her, she loves you-what's the problem? Why this childish condition?"

"After a week, or not at all," Arnav snapped, his voice like steel. "No arguments." He stormed off, leaving the garden's warmth behind, his silence a wall against their questions. Aman, suspicion stirring, followed him, sensing something deeper at play.
