RAIZADA MANSION [ Arshi's Room ]
As the commotion downstairs continued, Khushi lay silently on her bed, tears streaming down her face. While everyone else was caught up in the chaos, she experienced a different kind of turmoil-one that consumed her from within. All she could think about was why her brother had abandoned her. The question gnawed at her heart, causing an unbearable ache that grew with each passing moment. Betrayal and confusion weighed heavily on her as she struggled to make sense of his actions. She couldn't understand how he could leave her when she needed him the most, especially after everything they had been through. The tears flowed freely as she grappled with the pain of being left behind, feeling lost and abandoned in a world that suddenly felt cold and unforgiving. Her mind was flooded with questions that had no answers, leaving her adrift in a sea of uncertainty and hurt. The betrayal cut deep, leaving scars that would take time to heal-if they ever healed at all. As she lay there, lost in her sorrow, Khushi wondered if she would ever find the strength to forgive him, or if the wounds he had inflicted would forever haunt her soul.
Khushi Kumari Gupta was a girl whose life constantly shifted. The first major change occurred when her parents and brother were violently taken from her without warning. Recently, she had married her sister's boyfriend, and now, here was her long-lost brother standing in front of her. She had known that this confrontation would happen eventually-whether today or tomorrow-and had mentally prepared herself for it. However, when the moment arrived, she lost her composure. Despite recalling everything Arnav had told her, she couldn't contain the surge of questions that flooded her mind.
The room was filled with a palpable sense of pain and sorrow as Khushi, lost in her emotions, remained unaware of another presence. As she wept, the other person's heart shattered at the sight of her anguish. Sent by Arnav's father, he had expected a challenging encounter-but seeing his Guria in such agony, especially caused by him, left him struggling to cope with the profound sorrow filling his heart. Tears welled up in his eyes and cascaded down his cheeks, mirroring Khushi's pain as he tried to come to terms with the heartache that surrounded them. Their shared tears spoke volumes, expressing a deep understanding and connection between them despite the turmoil they both faced.
As Ankit sat down beside his sister, he could feel her deep pain and sadness. Unable to watch her cry any longer, he reached out and whispered her name, "Khu... Khushi!" Startled by the unfamiliar voice and surprised to see her brother, she quickly tried to wipe away her tears. But instead of answering her questions, Ankit took her hand and urged her to let her emotions out. "Don't... don't try to hide your tears from me, Guria. Let them flow. Perhaps with these tears, the resentment you feel for me will fade too."
He knew that the resentment she felt would only fade once she allowed herself to grieve. As she gazed at his earnest face, Khushi's heart began to soften, but her mind reminded her of the hurt he had caused by leaving her with strangers in her time of need. Don't give in, Khushi. He abandoned you when you needed him most. It doesn't matter if circumstances forced him; he should have taken you with him instead of leaving you behind. No, she couldn't forgive him too easily, no matter the reason.
