Bakubabe POV

     I looked at the hospital bed, I was freaking the fuck out, they just shoved me in here with a boy I almost killed! He looked upset, "You don't have to talk. It's okay." I hesitated and looked at Mina through the window. She nodded, and mouthed a 'go.' I walked up to him. "I- I don't- fuck!" I whined wincing, god I'm so stupid! "You don't fuck? Bakugo, I kinda doubt that." God how is he acting so normal? "No- I- How are you being so normal about this? You could've died!" I scolded. He 'looked' at me. 

     "Will you stop standing so far away? I'm not contagious." I stepped a little closer. "C'mon Elsa, come talk to your sister for the first time in years." I laughed at the joke. "You're kidding. I hate you oh my god." I laughed, "You've already proved that." I walked up to the bed, he put his hand out and I rested mine into it. My phone dinged, the groupchat had a new attachment, I shot my stare to Mina, phone up. I rolled my eyes and sat by Kiri. 

     "Y'know they said I could get my sight back, but I don't want it." I looked at him, slightly angry but mostly sad. "Why not?" Kiri laughed at the question. "Cause the guy I've been obviously flirting with is already dumb, what if he's dumb and ugly?" He laughed, god it was cute. "Wait who?" I asked, now confused. "I just said he was dumb, oh my god, I didn't think he was this dumb." he said smiling and holding the bridge of his nose. "I'm confused who have you been flirti-" He faced me. "You! You absolute dumbass!" He laughed and I sighed, "Oh thank jesus, you can't be a hero if you murdered someone as a teenager." I rubbed circles into his hand. 

     "Sooo how long is it gonna be till I can kiss you?" He asked and I almost died. RIght there, just dead. "Kiri oh my god!" I yelled, laughing. "Wait Kiri, did they really offer your sight?" I asked, now scared and confused, gosh these mood swings. "Well, yes, but no, don't tell Mina, but it would take months of medications and a few surgeries, I just can't afford it." He said, "But, I'm happy either way, atleast I'm alive." he said and I almost cried, "I uh- I might step out for a minute, Mina or someone else might come in after me." he nodded and I hugged him. I left the room, 

     "Bakugo where are you going?" Mina asked me as I walked down the hall, I turned, walking backwards, "Tell Kiri I love him, I'll be back I have to do something!" I turned again, running down the hall and out to my bike, I sped home, to my parent's house. I banged on their door. "Katsuki what are you doing here? It's 9am don't you have sc-" I pushed past her, "No time to explain, I need your help, listen close because this is gonna come out as a lot of info, really fast, my friend is in the hospital, he's been blind since he was attacked by the villain red riot at some young age, he's been abused by his dad ever since, his mother saved him from the villain attack, but in the process she died, he could get his sight back with a surgery, and a few months of medication. Mom I need help, I love him. " 

     I said the words before thinking. I smacked a hand over my mouth, my mom didn't know I was gay. "Wow, mom huh? Okay, Okay well, let's see, I can dip into the savings, and if you have an account then maybe we can pay from that, holy shit Katsuki, I know this is a big deal but can I meet him? I mean you just said you loved him, it's 9am I mean this is a lot!" I looked at her, "You don't care?" She looked at me, and laughed, "Oh honey I knew. I think I knew before you did." I was a little stunned, "but your father owes me 2,000 yen." I looked at her, "You bet on my sexuality?!" I yelled kinda wanting to laugh, "Oh shush. You're fine." 

      "Bye Old hag!" she yelled an I love you as I left, I sighed, leaning against the door a little in relief, "thank you," I whispered, bouncing up on my tiptoes a little, looking at the sky before booking it toward the driveway, getting on my bike. I drove to the hospital, I went in, going into Kirishima's room. "Bakugo?" Mina asked, suddenly all the memories from before I left flooded back, "Oh my god you didn't actually tell him right?" I asked, silently screaming, "No. I figured you'd tell him instead." I sighed in relief. "Thank jesus, can I talk to him a minute?" Mina let me through. 

     "Kiri." I kneeled by him. "Dude you can't propose to me right now, I look ridiculous and they took my clothes, my d!ck is out." he said wide eyed. I almost choked. "No, No shut up ok? I'm paying for the surgery." I whispered. "No." he said, now a little blank faced. "What?" I whispered, "I don't want your p-" I kissed him, Mina squealed but all I focused on was him, I kissed him, slowly hitting both knees, cupping his face, the kiss was deep and passionate and I leaned in, deepening it before pulling back, he pushed his head up beore letting go, almost reaching. "I don't pity you. I love you." I said as Mina left happily talking to Sero and Denki, showing them her phone, damnit Mina. 

     "Are you sure? How will you pay for it?" He asked, catching his breath. "My parent's own a hero agency, and I have my own savings account, I can afford it I just want you to see how much I love you," he hugged me, "But you have to meet my parents." He pushed me holding my shoulders, "The Katsuki Bakugo, Wants me, Eijirou Kirishima." I quickly muttered a "Bakugo " over his last name and he continued, "To meet his parents?" He smiled his cute smile and I nodded with a yes. He laughed and said that when he got out of the hospital we could go to dinner.
