His afternoon was being very boring, his phone had no battery and he was really tired of watching the same movies on TV over and over again. Taehyung was tired and bored, he wanted to go out but he didn't know where to go.
His father told him that he must stay in the cabin until he arrived, and the brown-haired one didn't like to much that idea, but he didn't want to argue with the adult. After all he took him with the intention of spending more time together, but Taehyung didn't understand why he took him to a forest. One of his father's ideas was to go hunting, but he wouldn't do any of that, so it would be a waste of time for both.
Another of his ideas maybe it was that they would camp, but there they were, in a cabin. It was totally ridiculous, he didn't know what he was doing there, but it was boring and he didn't want to wait any longer for his father. He took a coat and went out of there, looking for something to entertain himself with.
He was a little disappointed to see that he was only surrounded by trees, but he quickly got an idea and smiled, looking for his camera, the day was beautiful to take some good photos, and by the way, kill the boredom.
Once with his camera in hand, he started walking through the forest, trying not to stray so as not to get lost. He took photos of the trees that were beautifully illuminated by the sun, Taehyung was smiling because of the pretty photos he took, or when he found something that deserved a photograph.
A small noise in the bushes caught his attention, doubtful he walked up to it, wondering if it was some wild animal, but the bush was small so he didn't think it could be some kind of threat if it was an animal.
His doubts were cleared when he saw the head of a little bunny peeking out from the middle of the bushes, his fur was white and he was tenderly moving his nose while he ate something that to Taehyung's sight looked like a fruit.
—Hi, little bunny, can I take a picture of you?—Taehyung asked, delicately in his tone of voice, smiling at the tenderness that the little animal caused him.
The bunny saw hum for a few seconds, and then he started jumping quickly, away from Taehyung, he widened his eyes in surprise at the sudden action, however he took the camera and followed the animal. He needed a picture of the rabbit, he had never seen one up close and having a good photograph of it would make him very happy.
He didn't notice that the rabbit was going faster and faster and turning in various parts, until Taehyung realized that he had strayed too far, he had lost sight of the cabin. He cursed under his breath, he was lost, and he didn't even have a picture of the animal as consolation.
—Mr. Rabbit, I wanted to be nice, but you will let me take a picture of you, understood?—Taehyung frowning slightly in annoyance, feeling silly for talking to a rabbit, but he didn't care at the time.
The little animal passed one of its paws over its face, staying still, while moving his nose and tail, the brunette took advantage and took a photo. But he made a face of frustration when he saw that the camera did not focus well, and to his bad luck, the rabbit jumped again, away from him.
Taehyung decided to follow him, until the bunny jumped with speed and got under a tent, a tent too huge. The brunette looked up when he saw what it was about, a circus, a big circus. It had the entrance guarded by two guys, but Taehyung downplayed them, thanks to his friends he learned to get into places without the need to pay so he could easily lift a little of the tent and go inside.
And that he did, he went through the same place as the bunny, the one that now he couldn't find, when he got up, he realized that he was close to the seats, and apparently, the circus has just started its shows.
Curious, he slipped among the people and sat in a somewhat high place.—Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen. It is a pleasure to have you again, on another wonderful day at our circus. As most of you already know, I am your host, Kim Namjoon— the black-haired man introduced himself, bowing while receiving several applause, brought the microphone to his mouth and continued speaking—. Our circus is the most entertaining in the whole world, I think you know. It is not true?
All the people yelled in affirmation, except the ones where Taehyung was sitting, that caught his attention, but he decided to downplay it.
—My friends, let me ask you a question. What do you prefer, let our favorite clown or our great magician come?
When he finished asking the question, everyone began to shout that they wanted the clown to come, and the brunette was watching everyone with curiosity. In his moment of innocence he thought that maybe the man was very funny and that is why he was so demanded by the public.
—I see you want the clown, very good—Namjoon smiled.—You will have it in a few minutes, be patient.
Taehyung observed the people of the place, being surprised to see that most seemed to have enough money for their brand clothes, or there were several that could be noticed certain operations. Other people seemed normal, while those sitting near him looked poor and sad, that confused him.
It seemed that they were divided by social class, like-
—Do you see what I am seeing?—Namjoon's voice snapped him out of his thoughts, and he fixed on the man—Our clown is coming towards us.
Taehyung had no idea what the clown would be like, he also had no idea that he was like Alicia in chasing the bunny, and that his wonderland would be the circus.
