"morning, sleepyhead!" said Lil, hugging Liam as he got up. "we gotta go shopping, we haven't got much food left in the cupboards." "ok, gimme a sec to get ready." said liam, making himself some toast and a drink.
lil and liam never got to experience the original octarian empire. when they were in combat with agent 3, they got defeated and had enough. they dug a tunnel using a spoon for 5 years and fled after. when they got to the surface, octolings were being accepted into society. a few years later they gave birth to lil and then some more years later liam. EVEN MORE years later, they fell ill and died. the doctors had no idea what could've happened, and couldn't identify the illness.
meanwhile, as the brother and sister went shopping, the squidbeak splatoon were preparing for something. agent 3, 4, 8, Callie, Marie and an army of troops were lined up, training with weapons, whilst a green figure looked at a picture of an old phone. this phone, was the exact phone that Liam had seen in his nightmare.

the green octoling also had hair similar to Lil in Liam's dream, and the skin was an extremely similar tone. this octoling soldier was known only by 8.9, and was leading the squidbeak splatoon on their next mission. "hmm. where is Lil? we need to set out soon."
