Chapter 5

3rd Person POV

She panicked because she didn't know where she was. And what made the situation worse was that she heard the voice of that thing in her head again. Y/N now searched their pockets and looked for the small bag with the serum. But when she couldn't find the bag, she began to hyperventilate.

You are a coward. Let me in control and we'll be out here faster. she heard him say now and she shook her head.

No, if I let you control, I lose myself. she answered the thing in her mind.

Before the two could continue arguing, a door opened and someone approached the cell. Y/N now looked at the cell door and when she saw who was standing at the door she rolled her eyes.

Tony Stark was standing in front of her. Now she knew who had captured her. Tony knew that the others were listening in through the surveillance room. "Y/N L/N. It's not easy to find you. We don't want to harm you. We want to protect you from Hydra." said Tony now and waited for a reaction let alone an answer.

Y/N POV

I understood every word Stark said to me, but I didn't want to answer him. So I looked at him confusedly, as if I didn't understand a word he was saying.

"Ich verstehe, kein Wort. Ich spreche kein Englisch." (I understand, not a word. I don't speak English.) was my answer and now I saw Stark looked confused.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y what did she say?" I heard him now ask his A.I. I really had to pull myself together not to laugh out loud.

"Sir she said she didn't understand you because she doesn't speak English." came the answer of the A.I. I saw how Stark now ran his Hand frustrated through his hair. Now I turned to his A.I. and told her what to say to Stark.

"Sir, I should tell you something."

"What did she say, F.R.I.D.A.Y?"

"She wouldn't answer a narcissistic bastard. Just like she said to keep the little witch in the dark corner out of her head. She wants the little bag back before something goes wrong."

"She should tell us what this serum is. If we know that it is not dangerous, she can have it back."

Let me take over. They are our targets. This is what we were trained for. And I'm terribly hungry. I heard the thing say again and noticed how it took control.

The last thing I saw was the sheer horror in Stark's eyes before it completely took over me.

3rd Person POV

Before Stark could call his Iron Man suit, the cell door flew towards him. Wanda reacted in time and pulled Tony aside with her powers. A red creature stepped out of the cell and cried out animalistic.

The other Avengers came and tried to surround the creature. Wanda watched the creature and wondered what Hydra had done to the girl. The creature now grabbed Vision and tried to tear it apart. Vision dematerialized and thus escaped the creature.

When the creature realized that there was little chance in the narrow space of eliminating all Avengers, it fled. After the creature disappeared, the Avengers all looked at each other. They had never seen a creature like this before.

"What was that?"

"That's a good question, Rogers."

"What did Hydra do to her?"

"We have to find her before Hydra finds her."

"F.R.I.D.A.Y can you track her down?"

"Natasha, I have her. She is on her way back to Russia." it came from Yelena who looked at a small display. The others looked at the blonde before they all looked at the redhead.
