Chapter 20

3rd Person POV

T'Challa along with Okoye and the Dora Milaje went to the landing site. Shuri had informed her brother that they were on their way back. And that they had Vision with them.

"When you said we were going to open Wakanda to the rest of the World.....this is not what I imagined."

"And what did you imagine?"

"The Olympics. Maybe even a Starbucks." it came from Okoye and T'Challa had to laugh about it.

5 minutes later Shuri's ship landed. Rhodey and Y/N made it their mission to tease Bruce a little. To lighten things up a bit. The ship's ramp opened and slowly the others stepped out. Banner now looked at Rhodey.

"Should we bow?"

"Yeah, he's a King." Rhodey and Y/N said simultaneously. The two looked at each other and couldn't help but laugh. Steve walked past the three and headed straight for T'Challa.

"Seems like I'm always thanking you for something." said Steve to him now. Bruce bowed now and Rhodey had to laugh when he saw this.

"What are you doing?" you asked now and had to hold back a laugh.

"Uh, we don't do that here. So how big of an assault should we expect?"

"Uh, sir, I think you should expect quite a big assault."

"How we looking?"

"You will have my Kingsguard, the Border Tribe, the Dora Milaje, and...."

"And a seemi-stable 100-year-old man." said Bucky and next to him was Amy. When Amy saw her mother she ran straight to her.

You crouched down and picked Amy up the next moment. Amy held on to you and was glad that you were fine because she saw what had happened on TV.

"We should go to my lab and start right away. We don't know when they'll show up to get the stone." it came from Shuri now. They followed Shuri now.

Y/N POV

We were now in Shuri's lab. Still carrying Amy, I watched as Shuri analyzed the stone's texture. If the others left, I would tell Shuri about my plan. I wouldn't let Vision die.

"Whoa." I heard Bruce say now.

"The structure is polymorphic."

"Right, we had to attach each neuron non-sequentially."

"Why didn't you just reprogram the synapses to work collectivley?"

"Because we didn't think of it."

"I'm sure you did you're best."

When I heard what Bruce was saying that they hadn't thought about reprogramming the synapses, I didn't know what to say. I giggled softly when I heard Shuri's answer. Of course she had to show that she was smarter than Dad and Bruce.

"Can you do it?" Wanda now asked. When I heard her question I looked at Shuri. I knew she could do it, but I had another idea.

"Yes, but there are more than two trillion neurons here. One misalignment could cause a cascade of circuit failures. It will take time, brother. As long as you can give me." Shuri said now and from her voice I realized how difficult the whole thing was. One mistake and Vision would die.

Before anyone could say anything, Okyoe got a message on her bracelet. A hologram appeared and you could see that something was wrong. That meant they had found us.

"Something's entered the atmosphere." she said now and I put Amy back on the floor. I now had to prepare myself and really hoped that my plan would work. Then we heard what Sam said over comms.
