Then there they were, acting as shields for Naruto and Sasuke. As the 'spikes' were getting closer Obito used his Sharingan to teleport the one heading for Kakashi. As if on cue a portal appeared and the person that came out (ha came out) jumped infront of Obito taking the 'spike' for him.
To say everyone was shocked is an understatement. The person was wearing something they've never seen before...
